Not Legal - Waste of Time

Waste of time on the green. Another app did this years ago. I could just hear my playing partners now, “what are you doing, hit the ball”

Heard from developers. They actually said. “Saves time during competition “. Do they even know this is AGAINST THE RULES OF GOLF. ?!?

We all love the game of golf and hate slow play. Our app is designed primarily as a practice and training tool, not as something you want to use during regular play. We want to help golfers get better at green reading and putting in general, and to boost their confidence on the greens. Ideally, this even saves time in competitions, as commitment to your line rises, pre-shot routines become more efficient, and the number of putts decreases.

Great Practice Tool

If you struggle with putting, this is probably the best app to help you getting better. You get visuals on any putt to get instant feedback on your green-reading skills. The built-in recording feature is super powerful as you can record your putts against the AR overlay, so you immediately know if start line or speed were off. Highly recommend for golfers and coaches alike!

Garbage out of the gate

Talk about bad. These “ideal lines” were terrible. Was looking forward to this one for months. Had 2 terrible lines before getting hit with a pay wall. Don’t waste your time.

We are sorry to hear your initial experience with our App was not as expected. There however is no paywall to the core features of the app, so you can scan, play, and record as many putts as you like in the free version. The optional Pro subscription only adds more in-depth data, additional visuals, and customization possibilities. If every read is off, it could be the scan, the setup or the device itself. To find out, we would need a bit of information: your iPhone or iPad model, your iOS version, and ideally one example of a putt where it happened. Send it to appsupport@puttview.com and we will look into it with you.

Amazing App

Everything PuttView makes is on another level so I’m excited that they did this. Their books are the gold standard in the industry and obviously their indoor products speak for themselves. This app is so intuitive and the UI is so simple. Well done PuttView!

Compatibility not as described

Listed IOS and compatible phones in description not accurate. Later Pro version phones only.

Sorry for the confusion! The App Store only lets us set a minimum iOS version. Unfortunately we can't limit availability to specific iPhone Pro models. Since the app needs hardware (LiDAR) that's only in those Pro devices, we added a note in the App Store description, the screenshots, and in the app itself.
