Ridiculous load times
Even with all assets loaded, it takes over 3 minutes on fast wifi and an iphone 14 pro to get to the main screen. There’s a ridiculous amount of bloat in this game; they’ve sacrificed quality for flair

For the love of all that is holy, PLEASE bring back the original Puzzle Quest to the App Store. I’ll even pay a one time fee of $5.00 because nobody likes subscription games. PQ2 was not fun because it overcomplicated the game. PQ3 continues in PQ2’s footsteps. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Go back to your roots. 🙏🏻

Puzzle quest 2
I like puzzle quest 3, it’s a good game. However, puzzle quest 2 will always be the best!! Please bring 2 back!!!!
Fun but takes too much battery
Im on an iphone 16 pro and this game runs way too hot and drains battery insanely fast. Too bad since it is pretty fun.
It’s fine. Miss the older games
I played a lot of PQ2 back in the day, and recently felt nostalgic for it. Come to find out it’s no longer available for download, even in my store page. Found this instead. Tried it. It’s alright. Kinda pushing a lot of what I dislike about modern mobile gaming, but it’s serviceable. It’s a match 3 puzzle game with a combat mechanic; nothing new there. The 3d animations are a little distracting, but otherwise feels like a continuation of a great puzzle series. It’s up to personal preference if it’s a good continuation, though.

One of my favorite games
It crashes a bit more than I'd like at times, but it's a blast to play.
One thought about the UI layout on a tablet. If the AP counters were moved to the upper corners and the puzzle grid moved you the players would be able to see a lot more of the combat animation.
One way the other, it's far deserving of 5 stars.

Can not chose gender & class seperately
I’m a female and I choose to play as a female; however, it is a HUGE turnoff to not be able to chose my gender separate from race & class. Plus I hate that trying to find out the answer to my question was a huge waste of time. So, I’m probably deleting this one out of the gate.
Puzzle quest 3
Unfortunately this awesome gams is not playable due to freezing,and jerky movements. Can not complete even one level without having to restart 4-5 times. Disappointed because have been playing original puzzle quest for years.Will not be able to say that for this disaster.

It’s fun!
As you may have read in other reviews, the game does crash sometimes but it constantly auto-saves and reloads quickly. The core game mechanics and progress pace feel very good. I’ve been playing for free for about a week now and I have no intention of stopping.
It’s like a lessor version of Puzzle Quest 1 and 2
Honestly it feels really disappointing to me, as a fan of the original games. I really don’t like the tiny play board, the fact in one single turn you are moving several tiles on the tiny board and that how both of those design choices mean you’re never really making moves against your opponent or employing strategy. This feels dumbed down and mindless.

Cool game
It’s a fun game. I like it.
Fun game but wrecks battery
This game was fun but I had to delete it because it would drain my battery on my iPhone 12 and, later, brand new iPhone 15 in the span of like two hours of play. Despite reducing all settings to lowest possible performance/resolution. Did a little research. Turns out fans have been complaining for over 18 months with no meaningful response from developer.

Fun game, but possible issues
Gameplay is fun if you like puzzle adventures. A little repetitive, but that’s to be expected with these type of games. However, what you would expect to be such a simple game, it completely drains my battery life on my phone and makes it really warm. I have even turned the graphics in game down to lowest settings, with little change. At first I thought it was my old phone, but I just upgraded to the 16 Pro, and same issue. The game is great, but these issues may be a deal breaker for me.
