this update erased my puzzles progress. now it starts at level 1, I finish that one, the next one is still level 1. 2020 ipad 7, latest ios compatible. Please fix this otherwise enjoyable game. Thanks!

So boring
This game is awful compared to other games by this developer. I really dislike how the puzzles are not at all related to the story and you only do the puzzles to spend on stars to complete story actions. There is no logic or deduction involved in solving the mysteries or interacting with the environment of the story, it’s just a story with irrelevant repetitive puzzles that you need to complete to watch it play out. Disappointing but still I’ll look forward to the next games that Haiku releases

Always impressed by Haiku
This is an interesting way to divide up the puzzled vs. The mystery and story. You spend stars for clues and you gain stars by doing puzzles so you can stock up on stars and play through an entire chapter, or you can do each at an incremental rate.
With their other games, sometimes you get stuck on one puzzle which halts the game. Still fun, but sometimes it’s take a couple days so the story is a little detached. I’m impatiently waiting for chapter 11 to release 😆

Pretty good puzzles to get stars. Enjoy the storyline
Been playing Haiku Games for years
This new style is not Haiku that we all know and love. Please reconsider this change. Its a lazy style and has no character. By the time we finish one game we have to wait for the plays to add back up and by then some of us already forgot the storyline. Its not enjoyable. I miss the feeling of going on an adventure in the old Haiku Games. It was a beautiful journey that took skill and determination. I felt accomplished after completing the different puzzles and loved reading the complex mysteries. Please we beg you.

Problem with purchase
I’ve tried to buy the gold pass and every time it comes up with an error code 11.1022 It’s been like this for 2 weeks.
Really frustrating, now I’m at the end and only have 8 minutes to get all unused bonuses!

Haiku games are always the best!
I have been playing haiku escape games since they were individual apps and the AE mysteries came along and is the best app with amazing games. I think HAIKU games are the best and offer quality games. This app is no different, there is quality and cool games however the reason I am not as in love with it is because the mini puzzles are awesome but the actual investigation kinda runs for you. I wish it was more interactive where I can deduce who the suspects are and who I think did it or allow me to deduce by the clues I collect. I think the game could have been immensely better that way.

Haiku excel at puzzles like no one else
I wrote a longer review but my phone ate it. If you like smart puzzles that aren’t just there to slow your gameplay progress, you will enjoy this game. I’ve finished all the cases and it will be a sad day when I run out of free puzzles.
Reward track needs to change
It’s unfair that the reward track expires only 10 min after completing, and there is no way to get the diamond key afterwards. We shouldn’t be permanently locked out from puzzles and there should be an option to buy access later if we so choose
Not much skill needed
Unfortunately, this is nothing compared to the regular Haiku Games which are really fun. I played this for about an hour and it was just tedious. Mostly just leading you along the way without actually choosing much of anything. The puzzles themselves are way too simple. This basically consists of a bunch of screen tapping without any real choice in the story development along with no challenge to the puzzles. Lots of “options” though, stars, coins, passes, rewards, boosts, and some diamond key or something.

EDIT* I’m revising my review. Episode 1-8 puzzles were doable, and with more bombs/ useful gifts. Not the ridiculous (see a whole colour solution of triangles for 2 seconds).
In case 9..they’re almost impossible. Almost all of them are timed! I wasted 13+lives trying to complete..coloured triangles..shapes, and face logic.
I’ve completed all of the more doable ones. I’d have to purchase even more coin. With the V.I.P. Pass..$7.*3..$12.+ to unlock it..3.99*2…for coin..
It’s getting too expensive..They should take the timer off. I want to be able to enjoy it..not hate it.

Por lo general me parecen interesantes casi todos los juegos de Haiku, este en particular no me gusto para nada.
Me aburrieron los diálogos sin “búsqueda”
Mi favorito de Haiku es Haunted Hunt, de todos los que tiene es el único del que estoy enamorada, es una pena que no tengan nada siquiera similar
