Bit of a scam
First message when you try to change location is to pay $.99, not bad but after paying the $.99, which does nothing that the free app doesn’t do then you get a upgrade message for $12.99 a month, not sure what happens if you upgrade to that will it unlock anything or just give a message to upgrade for $24.99. Did not work for my application.
App isn’t suitable for small project calculations. The minimum input for daily production is 1 KWH. Being able to input a lesser requirement would be helpful.
Apple needs to remove this app
Does not work, and appears tha t stopped working in 2018 (as noted in comments below). Where can I get a refund? 😡

Inputted latitude and longitude and then screen stays blank... wast of 9.99 :-(
Where's all the data gone?
It's vanished! Not a single shred of solar data-one page of data on wind speed and temperature left. Now completely useless. Don't use until fixed
PV Master App
This worked for the first week. Then it wouldn't open any more. Total POS!
Total piece of garbage!!
I bought this app in hopes of having a handy PV calculator or some other resources available on my phone. Piece of crap literally never even opened once!!! Crash. Crash. Crash. Total scam!!!
App has serious bugs
Spent the $12 and downloaded this app. Was the most expensive app yet have purchased. Waste of money. PV Master would not open either on my iPhone 4s or iPad gen 4, with latest updates installed. Tried everything to get apps working. Called apple support and ran thru all techs ideas to no avail, deleted and reinstalled on both devices again. Still didn't work. App will only flash up onscreen for 1 second then disappear. Save your money on this one folks.

I thought it would do more I know how to do most of these calculations on paper....the data could be handy if I traveled to install PV in different regions I suppose....the glossary is nice to have.....I should have kept the Lite free version

I've been trying to get this to work as well but the database returns an 'err' message and there's no troubleshooting guide either. I'll be contacting Apple for a refund as well.

It has been an hour now and the app is still trying to connect to the remote database. I'm starting to wonder if there really is a data base. There does not seem to be a way to contact the developer in any way. Will try to get in touch with Apple to see if I can get a refund for this app. Shame, I really wanted it to work.

PV Master Pro
I want to revise my review of this app as I/we discovered that the iphone hardware was not working properly. We found fault with the GPS and electronic compass and have since sent the hardware back to Apple.
We installed the app on a second identical iphone and had no issues whatsoever with the app. It seems to work as intended.

Could be better
I use this in my iPhone 4.
It displays almost all the statistics I need for my location, running a small 600 watt per day system. The battery and panel calculators are handy.
These things could be better:
* The borderless "Manual coordinates" button on the main menu is too tiny and hard to click.
* When you click a field to enter a decimal, the text keyboard opens.
* Overall performance is slow.
* Statistics only displayed properly when viewed in landscape.
* This has a really boring interface.
Don't get me wrong, this is a good app and I give 4 stars. For $12 this app should be better.

App freezes
App can't locate database. Also the screen goes blank and can't enter coordinates manually. Would like to see FAQ to answer how to resolve these issues. I really want this app to work.
Good but could be better
This is a great app. My only beef would be not having the temperatures in Fairenheight or the wind speeds in MPH. Other then that, I see this being very useful in my everyday PV site work.
