The accuracy of the information differs from the device data, even though the internet connection is good. Also, the application often appears offline despite the signal being available.

Why low ratings?

So, I’ve been using this app for 6 months and I don’t understand the low ratings, I see all the info I could need and there is a lot more info, I can change my inverter setting, I can change my battery settings from anywhere, any time. Once after an update the realtime reading broke, I emailed the developer, they confirmed the bug after the update and they fixed it like 2 days later. The app probably is too technical for some people, but the app is far from bad. I think it’s great.

App funktioniert tadellos!

Horrible App. Once the password expires you are locked out forever

I cannot believe how bad this app is.

Also I think the data is held in Red China.

PV Pro

For the last 2 months the app shows no power use or charging! My Solark inverter is working. The app is not showing any battery charge, kilowatt made or used!

Caveat Emptor - User Agreement Nonsense

I urge users to always read User Agreements rather than blindly accepting them . This app’s User Agreement is a perfect example of why. This agreement is utter nonsense. It is painfully obvious that it was not written by a competent contracts professional and/or reviewed by a competent attorney. It makes no sense whatsoever, and in places even states the opposite of what was (hopefully) meant! I will site a few examples, just for reference, but there are glaring issues with practically ever paragraph of the document. “1.2 All ownership right, explanation right and operation right of all PV-CSP or PV-APP services shall be possessed and covered by E-LINTER.” What does “covered” even mean in this context? “1.3 E-LINTER shall not cover the notification obligation. “ So, E-LINTER reserves the right to change the terms at any time, but feel no obligation to inform the other parties to the agreement? Wow! 2.Attentions 2.1 After the completion of registration, you should keep confidential all account numbers and passwords, and you should disclose the same to any unauthorized third party.” So, let me get this straight - you WANT us to share our account number and password with unauthorized third parties? Starting to see a problem here? “3.2 A client shall comply with relevant laws and regulations, shall not upload any illegal information, and shall not infringe any patent right, copyright, trademark right, reputation right or legitimate interest of any third party. In case of violation, the client shall independently cover and bear all liabilities.” So, we are expected to protect E-LINTER’s reputation? Let’s see them come after me for my review of their absurd User Agreement. They’ll need an attorney for that… “3.3 A client shall carefully keep its PV-CSP or PV-APP account numbers and passwords.” Do they mean we should keep them “secure”? “4.1 E-LINTER will not publicize, or provide any third party with individual client's registration information and the client's non-publicity contents in PV-CSP or PV-APP when it uses PV-CSP or PV-APP, except any of the following circumstances: … (5) If E-LINTER is to improve the service quality of PV-CSP or PV-APP.” So, it’s OK to disclose client’s “non-publicity contents”, as long as it improves the service quality of the app? I don’t think so! “While we use reasonable measures to protect information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff, we cannot guarantee the security of account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of account information at any time. We cannot ensure the security of the information you transmit to us…”. So, is it standard procedure that workers in China who have access to your private information aren’t required to not steal it for their own use? Asking for a friend. Finally, it seems ALAPAKI feels compelled to defend this app with his rebuttal “review”. Could it be because it is the only app available to use with the systems he installs? He berates other reviewers and even other solar installers in defense of this pathetic app.

Doesn’t work anymore

The initial app worked well. Now it doesn’t work at all. Why did they upgrade it?

No data for a month

Well, there’s been two updates to this app, and I still am unable to view my system

This app is complete garbage. Not having visibility into my solar system is not a good thing fortunately it’s summer so I don’t have to worry too much but if it was winter, I wouldn’t be traveling and leaving my system unattended.

No data

This APP was working for a year, then suddenly it is not collecting data; I have to physically go to my inverter to double check usage.
Is there a glitch??? Any help???

What happened to the readings?

I get that they are trying to improve it, but I’ve been 13 days with everything saying 0W. Too long for them to fix a bug or provide a reasonable ETA or communication as to when it will be fixed.

Updates?

Our app stopped tracking > one week ago.

No longer works

It was never the greatest app but now it hasn’t updated for nearly a week. It keeps saying 0 power.

Not working

Not working

Sloppy app maintenance

This app is useful when it works, however, updates are sloppy and break more than they fix. App frequently shows my system offline when it is not offline. That issue happens after most updates. App has degraded over the last 2 years to the point it is mostly non functioning.
