4K upscaling is a game changer
Makes Sony’s official app look amateurish. Quick to connect, amazing performance, fantastic visual fidelity with the upscaling. Bought the paid version an hour after trying the basic version with no upscaling and just seeing the performance.

Too much Lag
Tested this app initially for my iPad and was impressed. There was some lag over WiFi, but reviews suggested a wired connection would be better. I purchased an Apple TV and upgraded to the pro version. Apple TV 4K version 3 wired in. Lagging still persists. Some games such as FC26 are almost unplayable and the pro version I paid for looked good, but again lagging caused a difficult play and visual experience. All the reviews suggested Apple TV 4K version 3 was one of the better options on the market. I now have an expensive paper weight.

What an amazing app the quality on the iPhone 17 pro max WOW! With the ps5 pro it is perfection, better than Sony ps remote play app.

I hope you can add a feature to set a default profile. I have three PSN accounts registered, and every time I reopen the app and start streaming, it connects me to a random account. There’s another issue: after enabling 4K upscaling, HDR stops working.
Perfect companion to Apple TV
I got this app to try it out mainly on my Apple TV, after just a day of playing Death Stranding I was hooked on how convenient and easy it was to stream my PS5. Getting the additional features was a no brainer and I immediately made this my primary gaming app over the official PS Remote Play. Besides the UI of this app everything has been excellent. I’m sure the interface will get a touch up soon and this doesn’t affect the primary function of the app. Keep up those consistent updates and one day Sony will purchase your app rights because this is it buddy.

Better than the official app in every way
There is no better PlayStation remote play app than this one. Buy it and enjoy the best experience remotely possible.
Ps5 had technical issues
Originally gave 1 star because of failing to connect but the problem was with my ps5. It’s now resolved and working fine.

This works amazingly well. Far better than the Sony official app. I use it with a ps5 controller and it's about as close as you can get to a ps5 on your iPad.

While the free version works great, but the paid version is absolutely worth every cent— unlock lots of features which are absent in other apps, offering players more choice all around— from stream quality to custom controller mappings.
The upscaling is an absolute game changer and looks fantastic on the iPad Mini 6, which handles the 2K upscale at 60fps with ease, and the Spatial Audio somehow feels wider and more immersive than Sony’s app.
Hardly feels like streaming when on my home network, and when traveling, I can adjust the quality to match my connection. This is one of the rare apps I feel was worth every penny. So much so, I didn’t hesitate to purchase it for other platforms like macOS. Honestly, can’t really think of any negatives.
Plus, the dev is extremely active on Reddit, and seems to be constantly improving and adding new features based on community feedback. It’s frankly amazing what they have been able to achieve compared to the first party app. Thanks for all your hard work Grill!

Works Very Well, Depending on Connection
Though remote play in general on consoles is very network-dependent, it works well on the networks I’ve used for Local Connections. Great configuration options and low price.
Button mapping not working on iOS 26.3?
Recently I tried this awesome app on my new iPad pro m5, but not as great as it was on android phone or mbp. Mapping seems not working, I tried use “share” as “ps” and “share + R3” as “ touchpad click”, none of them worked, new features/bugs introduced by iPadOS 26.3?

It would be amazing if you guys could add an option to change input sensitivity to things Like thumb sticks and stuff like that, I think that would be an amazing addition to the app

Here’s what I’d like to see;
On screen layout adjustment. My iPhone Dynamic Island blocks part of the screen in portrait mode, so if I could shift the display down a bit that would be wonderful.
Also for landscape, I’d love an opacity slider for on screen controls.

Good, but…
My experience with Ethernet for local ps5 pro play on iPad Pro 13” is that there is more noticeable latency than with the official app, video quality is only slightly better but only in SDR, HDR isn’t as vibrant. Also it drops the connection with no warning every 10 minutes or so. So, not suitable for my use quite yet.
