About

QBL by Camille is an iPhone app that calculates Quantitative Blood Loss (QBL) for cesarean and vaginal deliveries. It replaces the paper QBL worksheet — combining the volumetric measurement (fluid in the suction canister or drape) with the gravimetric one (each soiled sponge, lap, and linen weighed wet, minus its known dry weight) into a running total in real time: gravimetric + volumetric − irrigation, where 1 gram equals 1 milliliter. A color-coded indicator keeps the number meaningful at a glance, flagging when loss enters the elevated range and when it crosses the postpartum-hemorrhage threshold. Built-in tare weights are fully editable to match your facility's supplies, and cases can be named and saved to a private, on-device history with an optional Face ID lock. A fast bedside calculation aid — not a medical device, and not part of the patient's record.
