Almost perfect!
No problem. No ads. No tracking. It’s just that this one time the app kept crashing for no reason. Like this was a sort of important QR code i really wished i had but i guess maybe the text was too long so the app just crashed multiple times in a row. Other than that, Literally perfect. I just don’t think I can wish for anything more.

Overall good app, but misses a bunch of features.
Qewie has one of the best UIs i’ve seen so far, and allows to generate QR Codes that are not boring.
But, compared to other QR generators (devs, check QRbot and take inspiration), this application misses a lot of fundamental features (like correction levels and color customization of the single elements).
Still, this application has QR stats, redirection and templates, which ar features that some other apps lack.
Overall, Qewie has a lot of potential to become even better. If the devs are interested, i would like to send a list of all the features i think this app should have, because i would like to actively contribute to the developing.

Not only does this app have a great design and layout, it is a joy to use. Saw this on “Hidden Gems of the App Store” and decided to download.
There is a payed option, but it’s not too intrusive. There is just enough locked behind it to make me consider paying for it, but not too much to the point that it removes in any way the necessary features of the app.

I downloaded this app after reading about it on 9To5Mac. It looks pretty but it has a subscription or a very high price (for what it does). There are plenty of free tools to get the job done and most people don’t care what color their QR codes are (although the free tools have this option).
The price is an insult to customer intelligence.
On top of that the “free” version is useless. QR codes can’t be saved. So it’s basically an ad.

fun ≠ value
Interesting app with stellar ui but.. the app is extremely limited without the pro version which is £20 lifetime, while for a business or creator that is good value. A general consumer having features like wifi, location and contact cards paywalled does not justify the expense, an app like this for my personal I would maybe spent a few pounds on for lifetime. Locking a custom logo or a link shorter service behind a paywall would make a lot of sense but not basic local qr code features. Hope to see this change.

Followed the development on the socials. Sad to see the developer went for the subscription money grab. Such a waste.

This was brilliant and I had from day one but now it’s got a pay wall. It’s a real shame when developers do this. Be honest up front and offer some options and a subscription or how ever but giving it all free then as it gains momentum and it gets publicity through tech sites you then bang on a paywall. Shame and another money grab. I would’ve paid no problem if you were honest upfront. Paying £3.99 monthly for WiFi etc QR codes is greedy. The prices listed in your IAP description are different than the app version. There is no £1.99 monthly or lifetime £19.99. It’s double the amount in your app? Please correct.

It’s a nice simple app, but with this little features now the extra in app purchase for $5 per month or $50 lifetime feel like a scam…

Subscription based pricing
£3.99 a month to make QR codes for anything other than a website is wild. Lifetime price being £39.99 is also disappointing.
