This app is useless, just like the keyboard that constantly disconnects every 10 minutes. Never buying Belkin garbage again.
Needs updating for iOs13
Please update software for iOs13 . I cannot get to firmware update. Please rectify
Second One
I bought my first one in 2015, I’m only replacing because the cover has worn out due to use with a lot of oils on my hands. I love the fact that you can flip the iPad and use it in portrait mode. The old keyboard still works, just the case looks horrible. I’m traveling a lot now so I don’t want such a ratty looking case. I’m taking off one star so because the case materials should be better. The software works fine.

FIRMWARE WILL NOT UPDATE!
Have tried multiple times, and now my backspace key on the keyboard does not work. Keeps locking up. Keyboard is great but the app is useless and/or detrimental to the functioning of the keyboard. No support on the Belkin website that I can find.
Not very useful
The keyboard is awesome and works great. No problems there. There is no real reason to have an app with it. I don't type in multiple languages, and I don't really care about firmware updates. I can get the battery indicator using the Batteries widget built in to iOS. The shortcut keys are just not very good. The app must always run in the background to use them, which means every time I open my iPad I have to open the app again. It's just annoying. The shortcut keys can't open Google Classroom properly either, one of the main reasons I wanted them in the first place. They just ask for an account to use, and then it sits there with the Classroom logo doing absolutely nothing. Also, it only allows you to create shortcuts for certain recognized apps rather than any app on your iPad. Why can't they let you have a shortcut for whatever you want? All in all, there is no real reason to get this app. Just use the keyboard.

Belkin Qode
This app allows you to allocate fn shortcut keys eg for mail, Safari etc.
After the shortcut is allocated, you can use the fn key and the programmed key to show a drop down menu that asks you if you want to change screens? You then have to touch the screen to answer this question and the screen changes.
This not really a shortcut as it would be quicker just to touch the screen in the first place? A waste of time and effort.
The other function is to a change the keyboard to a different language. As I only speak English I don't think I'll have a use for it.
I have awarded the one star for the battery condition indicator that is at least useful.

Needs to Support ALL QODE keyboard cases
This App needs to Support ALL BelKins QODE keyboard cases, as it doesn't work with my Ultimate Lite Keyboard case for iPad Pro 9.7" so you can't even tell how charged it is or isn't (or update it's firmware etc).
Love the keyboard, but
The app is not intuitive at all, and offers very limited help. Help offers nothing on setting up and using launch keys, and other functionality. Improve the documentation, please.
Great add-on for the iPad 9.7
Great add on for the Belkin Ultimate pro for iPad Air 1. This device also works on the new iPad 9.7 2017 mode as well. All in all a great bargain.

Shortcut keys only work inside the QODE app... not useful...
Otherwise, it does pair easily, battery life is great. But, yeah, those shortcut keys guys... :(

Great Keyboard
This keyboard is great. Have had no problems with it. Had a warranty issue and it was completely replaced. Very pleased!!
Finally works... kind of
New update allows the shortcut/hot keys to work... but ONLY if you open the QODE app EVERY time you unlock your ipad. If it's not actively running in the background, it doesn't work.
Now: finally works!

Please update this for iOS 10.2 soon, firmware update is badly needed for the shortcuts and compatibility.

The ONLY support I got from it was, when it told me it doesn't support my iPad2 or any other idevice above iOS 9.1.

Get with the times (iOS10)
Come on belkin!! The last update was 12/15?? Its almost a year later and there's been a new update! I can't upgrade my firmware after iOS9.1 :(
