“Unable to load preview”
I was hoping to use the preview feature but it will not properly connect to my QooCam Ego. I can download footage fine, but was hoping to use my phone as an additional monitor

Location required to use App
I downloaded the app to use my QooCam EGO. I denied giving it access to my location, and disabled the save location in photos setting. However when every you connect to the camera it says “Connect to camera via Wi-Fi and save location information in photos taken by QooCam” if you hit ok it takes you to your settings app and won’t let you continue unless you share your location. Despite no reason it needs to have access to your location with the “Save Location Information” turned off.

App works great as a remote control
Not so great as an editor etc because transferring 8k 360 video is so slow.
Also, the connection is lost if you move more than 10 meters or away :(
Still, the key feature is that you can change aperture settings remotely without touching the camera body so you can great your own HDR images and videos by shooting the same scene multiple times with different settings to get both sky and background in perfect lighting.

Rien ne fonctionne, en mode vidéo, l’enregistrement démarre et quand on appuie sur arrêt l’enregistrement continue et provoque une erreur bloquant les accès aux menus si on bascule en mode photo l’application fait le yoyo entre les boutons vidéo et photos et bloque aussi l’application, quand on réussit à entrer dans le mode photo l’appui sur le bouton montre un curseur qui tourne sans arrêt sur lui même mais pas de photo ! , si on utilise le mode tutorial l’application ne reconnaît pas l’appareil!! À l’image de la QooCam ego qui a eut droit à un joli marketing mais qui ne confirme pas dans la réalité entre autre batterie annoncée pour 1 heure de fonctionnement qui tient à peine une petite demi-heure!! Que de déceptions et l’application ne fait rien pour l’arranger

It doesn’t work
It can connect to Qoocam ego 3D, after downloading the file, when opens, it shows a black screen and the content cannot be previewed…
Not working with iOS 17
Unusable because pictures are black in the app. so you can’t edit. A bug fix is needed.
Camera does not connect
Trying to search for the camera results in a never-ending spinner appearing. Force quitting the app is the only way out.
I’ve tried connecting to my phone’s hotspot and connecting the camera to the same WiFi network as the phone. Neither works.
Maybe Kandao can provide some more advanced controls (such as being able to manually specify the IP address of the camera?)

Room for improvement
I recently purchased the Qoocam EGO, and have been really enjoying it. This app is a necessary part of the equation, to upgrade firmware and access advanced settings etc. The app isn’t bad, but there are definitely areas where it can be improved:
- There is no way to batch export photos to the phone’s camera roll. Having to view each individual photo one at a time is tedious. Please take a design cue from GoPro or Insta360 and support batch export of photos.
- When viewing 3D photos, the only 3D viewing option is “parallel” eyes. Please support a Google cardboard-type experience.
- Please support exporting photos as wigglegrams, and as red-cyan anaglyph.
- I found pairing confusing at first, and still don’t know how to get my camera to show up under the “My camera” tab, rather than the “Other Cameras” tab. Both the app and camera are logged in with the same account.

Failures all around Can't even take a simple photo
Keeps an uncloseable dialog open demanding location be turned on. Can't make it go away. Can't take photos or videos without location turned on. Was able to get into photo mode by disabling cellular data, but then fails to take photos with a "-200" error or switches to video mode.
You claim that you don't collect any data, but the fact that you won't allow me to use the app without giving you location data determined that is a LIE. Frak you a holes for doing this. I hate you and hope company fails and you get kicked off the App Store for LYING.

仍有bugs有待修正更新
我用的是qoocam 4k 360
1.首先是散景模式不能儲存為人像圖片，完全沒有景深內嵌，亦不像官方陳述，還以為可以另存景深圖，在這模式中亦經常彈apps.
2.在3D拍攝，無論在影片或圖片中，完全沒有任何調校，不能裁剪，不能調整視角或變形，只有奇怪的變形圖直存手機。害我花了多少功夫修整，情願是原圖的兩個球體。
3.360圖片又沒有虛化那選項，反之3D又沒有濾鏡
4.3D模式中，左下的投影模式鍵完全不能按

Keine Google Streetview mehr
Leider können keine Bilder mehr über ein Google Konto für die Streetview geschickt werden. Google hat die App wohl nicht zertifiziert.
Qoocam camera not working properly on iPhone iosx 15.02 or on Android phone
App keep crashing/freezing on both iphone and Samsung phone. Very unstable software and hardware. Wifi constantly get disconnected and could not download a 30 seconds video clip before propgram freeze. Totally a useless piece of garbage hardware

買った当初のアプリではQOO camのアプリで
動画をスマホにダウンロードし3D動画を楽しめたが、アップグレードしたアプリには3D動画を見るためのアイコンが表示されない有り様

Not connecting
App not connecting to camera, please fix.
Terrible privacy
The app can’t connect to the camera without exact gps location turned on and needs access to your whole image library if you want to export an image.

La liste des téléphones Apple compatibles fournis dans cette application est erronée. En effet pour pouvoir utiliser toutes les fonctionnalités de la camera Kandao QooCam 360 8k il vous faut au minimum un Iphone 10 confirmé par les supports Kandao alors pourquoi diffuser une telle liste?

After pre-ordering my purchase as an early adopter the long wait is currently worthwhile. Results my QooCam delivers after the many updates now makes me happy. Thanks!!!
