Contact information

This app used to be one of the best around, I really enjoyed using it especially for QR code on contacts information, now it no longer works that well touch contact information and it just throws you out of the app, would love the developer to put a little work and get it back working how it should if that was the case happy to buy this app

I have used this app for quite a few years, but presently once you open it to QR code a contact, you cannot scroll down to get the whole contacts information in, soon as you touch the screen it shuts itself off,

FAQ

What can this app do?

This app functions as a powerful yet simple QR code reader and generator. It can scan various 2D and 1D barcodes, including QR Codes, Data Matrix, EAN, and Code formats. You can use it to access web links, make phone calls, send emails, add contacts, navigate maps, and add events to your calendar directly from scanned data.

What types of barcodes does it support?

The app supports a wide range of barcode formats. For 2D barcodes, it includes QR Code, Data Matrix, and Quick Code. For 1D barcodes, it supports EAN8/13 (for products and books), Code 39 (for bills), and Code 128 (for packages).

Is this app free to use?

The app is free to download and use for its core scanning and generation features. However, certain advanced functionalities, such as continuous (bulk) scanning, are available as an in-app purchase.

Can I scan barcodes from images?

Yes, you can decode barcode images directly from your device's photo album. This allows you to extract information from saved images without needing to scan them live with the camera.

What are the benefits of using this QR code reader?

Beyond basic scanning, this app offers several benefits. You can preview web links and maps before opening them, send scanned results to a connected Mac on the same LAN via Wi-Fi, and export your scan history as a CSV file to cloud storage like Dropbox. It also provides insights into how many times a URL or product barcode has been scanned.
