Played around with alternatives but this one is tops. Intuitive and powerful.
Tried free version once, then deleted
This app seems to draw out polarizing feedback and count me on the ultra negative side. Was just looking for a simple, free, basic QR generator to create a single QR code, not bulk generation. What I got for free was a QR code that opens not to the URL I specified, but to a “splash page” advertising this app with a link to the URL I desired. Sorry, that’s not the definition of “free”.

A livesaver!
I need to print QR codes, plus text, for a simple serial number tracking system. The only solution I had before discovering this app was to one-by-one type up codes, click and drag, etc., etc. SO time consuming, almost canned the whole thing. After using this app, I can finally step it up, and track serial numbers for my products! Thank you! Very worth the $29.99 lifetime subscription too.

Exactly what I was looking for!
Having used multiple other sources such as Bitly, the intrusive ads that they placed infant of the QR destination was not what we wanted our viewing customers to see. SO… we tried this app. It is EXACTLY the solution we needed and works VERY well!
Bad Model
Look, I don’t mind paying a developer 0.99 or even 2.99 or 3.99 for a really useful app that is nice to work with, but SUBSCRIBING to a QR Generator is silly and borderline offensive.

I finally managed to get the upgrade to v3 perpetual automatically for £9.99 UK which seems pretty reasonable. Updating my rating from 1 to 4 stars as the software itself does a decent job.

I paid for a perpetual licence for version 2 in the App store about a year ago and I use it about once a month. I came to re-install it today on my new Mac and version 2 is no longer available in the app store. When I "restore purchases" with version 3, it tells me there are no purchases to restore.
The only option seems to be pay again for version 3 (which is pretty pricey) so I am opting to purchase a different QR code generator from a more trustworthy vendor.

AWESOME! So intuitive and fun to use. Great results
It lets me get great looking QR codes, easy, to my tastes. App is easy to use, well designed and full featured. So glad I got it.

No free version. Just try to start a paid tier version.
low capacity
Had an academic poster bibliography to do. QR generator could not handle 7 pages of text. Broke it down to 2 documents and QR code reader still could not handle. It only worked for another section which was a few sentences long.

War eigentlich nur auf der Suche nach einem Tool, mit dem ich VCARDs erstellen kann, und war dann angenehm überrascht, daß man bei der QR-Code-Erstellung zwischen der Ansicht „QR-Code“ und „Roher Code“ (VCARD) hin- und herschalten kann. Jetzt kann ich beides, perfekte QR-Codes erstellen, und VCARDs. Merci!

Bad UI and adherence to standards. Can’t quit.
I bought the program, used it for a while, and had good experience. But I decided to end the subscription. When I tried to delete the program, they have prevented and remapped the command-Q to force their advertising and subscription. Bad form…horrible experience at the end.
Misleading Purchase Process
On the purchase process screen, it stated that a 7-day free trial was included. However, I was charged immediately, even though I hadn't decided if I wanted the product. Additionally, the product isn't integrating the logo well, and I no longer want it. My question now is, how do I get a refund?

SCAM
I installed this app on my Macbook Pro. Went through the intro setup to the page where it FORCES you to sign up for a purchased subscription (I thought it was free). Now it won't let me shut down the app or remove the it even though I've tried every way possible. Can't even shut down my Macbook because the app is open. Maybe this is a good app for the people who are paying for a monthly subscription, but it's a HUGE SCAM since it won't let you close the app until you give them money.

Excellent bulk CSV features
I love this software! As a developer myself, I really value well written software, and excellent technical support. Since begining to use QR Factory as part of a workflow that requires regerating hundreds of QR codes per week from CSV data, it has exceeded all my expectations. Their development team has added features specifically to support my workflow, and with their rapid response times and superb manner the only thing I wish for is that I could buy more software from these guys! I'd love to have Tunabelly style support for other software titles I have to use :-)

Gelegentlich habe ich die Notwendigkeit, QR-Codes zu erzeugen. Für meinen Anwendungsfall ist der Funktionsumfang absolut perfekt.
Eine frühere Rezension, bei der ich das Nur-Abo-Modell bemängelt habe, will ich hiermit korrigieren, denn es ist auch ein Einmalkauf möglich. Bei einer notwendig gewordenen Neuinstallation hatte ich aufgrund der Lizenzdarstellungen Schwierigkeiten, meinen Kauf einer Dauerlizenz wieder herzustellen. Das ist mir nun aber gelungen und ich kann die App empfehlen.
