The best!
Use this app all the time, esp for work and creating codes for promo flyers. I have had a few others in the past but will absolutely stick with QR Pop. So versatile and easy to use. It’s perfect!
Best I've seen so far
Even compared to pay-for apps, this is probably the best app I've seen for generating QR codes. My only disappointment is that while you can use an SVG logo inside the QR, it becomes raster once saved. Not sure if this is intentional or a bug.
Great visual options with Shortcut actions!
This is fantastic, and exactly what I needed. Worth more than the optional $0.99 donation just for the Shortcuts actions alone. Makes it easy to integrate with other workflows or automations. Thank you so much!
Three more pixel shapes that could be nice additions (often found in online generators):
- Smooth Path (where the pixels blend together organically)
- Scaled Circles (using both large and small dots)
- Custom Shape (loading a vector shape for user-created pixels)

Love the Safari extension
This app is exactly what I wanted to make a URL from Safari into a QR code so I could share it to my PC via WebCam. This is the easiest way to open a website from your phone to computer.
Great little app
This is a really handy little app. Many design options to create stunning QR graphics to cover a multitude of use cases ... Developer is also extremely responsive.

Simple & Easy To Use
It is easy to create QR codes and save them where you want them. You can also copy them directly to the clipboard. Highly recommend.
Was just going to delete after I used it
I was going to delete the app after I used it once, but it has a lot of other types of QR codes than links, so it’s worth keeping.

Recently discovered this app and am blown away by the amount of options and thoughtful details—and all without the typical “we charge a monthly fee for access to these tools” runaround. Massive respect to the developer, THIS is how you make an app in 2023🤘🏻

QR Pop is simple and does what it says
I am so glad that I can now generate a QR code on my Mac without submitting the URL information to the Web. I can save the QR code in Photos and drag out as a jpeg to store with my files. Simple and well done.
Simple and perfect
This is a clean, modern, Mac-native QR code generator. The share extension allows it to be used in Safari (or any other app, really). That means you can generate QR codes just about anywhere there can be a URL. The app itself also lets you generate various types of QR codes besides URLs, like phone numbers, and calendar events. Perfect.

Works great, looks good
Very easy to use and looks like it belongs with macOS. Shows up as a Universal app in System Info. Nearly perfect as is, but could use a few more options seen in other programs. This will satisfy the needs of most people and you should feel bad if you don't click the 99¢ tip button.
