起動直後に操作不能になります
バージョン2.17 (30) を、macOS 14.7.2 で起動したところ、起動直後のウィンドウにある「7日間の無料トライアルを開始する」をクリックしても反応は無く、「永続ライセンス」のボタンは読みこみ中？ のようなアニメーションを延々と表示し続けるだけでクリックすらできません。

Does what iit says it does. Easily installed and works well as an extension to Safari.
Fragliche Freigaben erforderlich
An sich finde ich das PlugIn sehr gut und der Preis von einmalig 1,99€ ist auch völlig OK. Was mich wirklich stört und mich dazu veranlasst hat, die Extension wieder zu löschen, ist der fragliche Datenschutz. In der Information über das PlugIn in Safari wird aufgelistet, dass die Erweiterung Zugriff auf allerleit INformationen erhält. Unter anderem auf Passwörter, Kreditkarten-Informationen und Browserverläufe. Keine Ahnung, wofür das zum Erstellen eines QR-Codes notwendig sein soll. Klingt für mich nach einem "legalen phishing" und ich würde mir wünschen, dass Apple so etwas nicht über den AppStore zulässt.

Note that this comment was made before we refactor the app completely. To answer the concern on the permission required by our Safari extension, now we only read the url of your current page.
Has suddenly stopped working for some sites
I've used this app for two years without issue. I have recently updated my device and this app will no longer consistently create a QR code for sites I had previously used. It creates code for some sites, but not others. Annoying!

The app installs as /Application/QRCodeGenerator. OS X 10.15.7 reports this app as malware and after choosing the option to delete it, fails to do so, all without a technical explaination or incident details.
Using appCleaner to uninsttall this app takes a long time with spinning wheels but will succeed.
However deleting it from trash also hangs a while but ultimately seems to work.

I guarantee that this app contains NO MAlWARE. Instead, we care a lot about privacy. This app doesn’t collect any analytics. Note that this comment was made 5 years ago for the old version on an old macOS It’s long before we refactor the whole app.
