Best devs ever

Simple enough โ€“ it's a variation on the word game Perquacky. You roll the dice and make words. The words are grouped by length and when you get 5 of a length, you get a nice bonus but the value for that length goes down. In the advanced version you get extra letters and time as you complete sets. Oh, and you can't just add an s to a word, but there are some transforms you can get away with.

As for the devs, they've been friendly, responsive and now they're back. Because Apple doesn't keep your purchases when the dev stops paying I lost access for a while. But the devs found my old email and let me know they had updated it! Since I already owned this, I went and bought their other games. We're all happy here and hope word game fans will be happy too.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for nice review and support. You made my day.

Disappointing

I'm finding it extremely difficult to draw the line to the letters, frustrating.

Response from developer

I hope you'll give it another try. There is a demo video to watch. As to drawing the lines, be sure to start OUTSIDE of a letter - that begins the line drawing process; continue dragging your finger to keep the line going. If you touchdown on a letter, the game assumes you want to move that letter and no line is drawn.

Great even if you have an iPhone 5s

I love Perquackey; Quackery captures the game, perhaps even better than the original. Advanced play mode gives you more time when you get a great board, and puts you out of your misery quickly on a bad board. I also like that you get bonus letters every time you reach a point bonus. It makes it possible to keep going with more and longer words.

The latest version makes the indicators at the top left side of the board display clearly, even on the small screen. It's now really easy to know when you've finished a category. This is a wonderful change, and that's why I've now given this app five stars. This game is now GREAT on all 5 of the I-devices my family owns. It's one of our favorite games of all time. Thanks for making it!

Ms

Very similar to the original Perquacky dice game. Love it!

Almost perfect

It is as close to Perquackey as you can get on an iPad...I wish I could see how well I did on that roll compared to others...or to play with others on the web. But, glad to have it.

Response from developer

Be sure to upgrade to version 4.0 - you can now play against friends via Apple's Game Center.
