Critical Alerts Sound

Thank you for enabling critical alerts. I tested it both with the phone in silent mode and with sound on, but there was no sound in either case. This issue was also occurring before the last version update—do you know if this is a known issue?

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback, Silviu! Starting from version 3.4 (released on April 10), critical alerts functionality has been implemented and is currently in the testing phase. At this moment, alerts are triggered for earthquakes with a magnitude of 5.0 or higher, and they bypass silent and focus modes to ensure maximum visibility. Your input played a key role in making this happen - we truly appreciate it!

Please enable critical alerts to bypass silent and focus modes, ensuring maximum volume. Prioritize near-instant reporting—delays of even a few seconds are a matter of life & death. We need information in under 30 seconds. Good job on the application.
