QUANTUM VIPER v1.3 — GAME MODES UPDATE Three fresh ways to play, plus a big combat rebalance. NEW MODES • Viper Run - a 100-level top-down marathon. Every 10th level is a boss encounter, no cockpit interruptions, no breaks. How deep can you push a single run? • Quantum Speed - 10 cockpit boss battles back-to-back with a global timer. Chain your kills, chase the leaderboard, and try not to blink between "TARGET N of 10" transitions. • Multiplayer Arena - 1v1, 2v2, and Free-for-All formats with three control schemes: You vs AI (WASD + Space), Local 2P (WASD/Space + Arrows/Enter), or Spectate mode to watch the AI duke it out. Number keys 1/2/3 (P1) and 8/9/0 (P2) fire your equipped abilities. COMBAT REBALANCE • Bosses now get 3.5 seconds of spawn invincibility (2.5s for minibosses and elites) so a maxed-out ult can no longer one-shot them before they arrive on screen. • Per-hit boss damage is capped at 5% of max HP; nuke damage against bosses reduced from 25% to 8%. Fights feel dramatic again — no more anticlimactic instant kills. • Boss defeat now plays a cinematic ship-destruction sequence before returning you to the next level. QUALITY OF LIFE • Added GAME MODES button to the main menu • Cockpit boss transitions in Quantum Speed keep the 3D scene mounted between bosses for smoother pacing. • Multiplayer arena shows control hints on screen so you always know which keys do what. • Numerous stability fixes to the boss wave system and cockpit-to-topdown transitions.
