my review

I love the app, however, whenever I wanna download a video, I do the long press, but it’s only showing me the link previews. It’s only showing me like the share or open a new tab. I would like to see a shortcut button for the downloads or add to playlist.

Thanks for the love and feedback. Please try enabling Settings → Video permissions → Show video toolbar. After that, you should see quick actions like Download or Add to playlist when playing a video. If it still doesn’t work on certain sites, feel free to send us the website link where the video couldn’t be downloaded, and we’ll take a look.

Update

Initially I loved this app, but now, 90% of the videos I add to a playlist just end up playing as advertisements. It’s made the app unusable to me.

As per the response from the developers, I tried waiting for the actual content to play before downloading, but alas, still saves as an advertisement. However, i greatly appreciate how responsive and helpful the developers are, and increased my rating because of that. Thanks, and hopefully I’ll be able to use Quetta again soon. Fantastic browser when it works.

Last Year I Tried Quetta--So Glad!

I was skeptical at first about a year ago when I gave Quetta a go. I read some reports of inconsistency. But overall, my experience has been good. Seems to really keep the privacy in-check, very flexible and convenient with the add-ons, and it also doesn't try to resist my password managers like the other browsers. Quetta has become my go-to browser now. I had it on Samsung Android and didn't even realize they have it now on iOS so I just installed Quetta on my iPad Pro.

Update

This usually happens on some websites where a pre-roll video ad plays before the main content (this is part of the website’s own playback rules). Our tool may sometimes detect the ad video and show the save/playlist toolbar during the ad, which can be confusing. Please wait until the main video (actual content) starts playing, and then use the toolbar to add it to your playlist

Just need full Browser addon support like Android version and change aspect ratio when watching videos other then that such a great browser for iOS

Playlist and playback

This is a great browser! Highly recommend it and can’t wait for laptop version to come out. Only downside is that videos play from where you left off, which makes it annoying to shuffle through playlist, and that I haven’t found a way to have one song in multiple at a time. Other than that, I’m excited to see how Quetta develops

Neat idea, but doesn't work great

Was still getting ads almost everywhere, and downloaded videos were too unreliable. Many couldn't be watched or exported. Probably ok if YouTube is all you care about, though.
