Perfect mindful read-later app

It’s a blessing in disguise that Pocket shut down, because i ended up finding Quiche. It’s helped me have a more mindful relationship with all the articles and pages i save for later, and confront the fact that my time is limited and i cannot read it all, nor should i.

Wonderful app - but where’s reader mode?

I love this app, but where’s reader mode? The worthwhileness of ditching Safari's endless tabs hell becomes razor thin when I can’t have reader mode on Quiche Reader, but can on Safari. Please implement it 🙏🙏🙏

Simple, Great

Great reading list app! As the title says, this app is simple, which is why it’s great. It doesn’t try to do too much, it just works.

Great app, but definitely can improve!

To the developer(s), I’m grateful that this is a simple, functional and straightforward solution and works really well while not collecting data. That said, would love if there were some open source options for reader view the way safari does and allows some open source narrator options!

Happy to discuss more feedback if needed, as I read it more.

Appreciate the philosophy

But can we at least see the titles of what we have saved?

FAQ

What does Quiche Reader do?

Quiche Reader is a read-it-later application designed to combat reading list overwhelm. It presents articles one by one, requiring you to read, archive, or delete each one before proceeding to the next. This method aims to reduce decision fatigue and ensure you actually engage with your saved content.

How does Quiche Reader help manage my reading list?

Instead of a daunting list, Quiche Reader shows you only the first article in your queue. You must interact with it (read, archive, delete, or snooze) before the next article appears. It also automatically removes articles not read within 30 days and prioritizes older saved articles to prevent them from being forgotten.

Is Quiche Reader free to use?

What devices is Quiche Reader available on?

What are the main benefits of using Quiche Reader?

The primary benefit is reducing the anxiety and overwhelm associated with traditional read-it-later apps. It promotes a more focused and structured reading habit by forcing interaction with each article, ensuring you make progress through your saved content without feeling bogged down.
