Super fun game

This is a great card game. Love it.

Never make comments on games BUT!!!!!!

They changed the entire format and I wasnt happy so for the 1st time ever I made the following comment::::: “Loved it the way it was. All the developers did was take all the fun out of the game. Great Job guys!!”. Within days they put it back to the way it was. Well, like always, I look for the best strategy so I wrote down all the possibilities of betting (e.g. 4x2 3x3 etc.) it turns out all the same total. It boils down to being the fastest. This means with a little common sense betting x4 then next option x2 will give the same results as betting x3 then next option x3 except its faster to bet x4 with a timer going. This means all the other options are useless. Suggest the developers fix the timer or give better results for taking the time for us to want to use it.

Response from developer

Hi Bizziebeingme, Thanks for taking the time to voice your opinion. There were 2 major changes in the last build. The first change was from 3 rounds to a single round. This was due to feedback that a match took too long. The second change evolved from the single round because without the booster propagation to the next round, 4x and 2x became the best play. The BoostingFreezesHand rule requires considering if the sleeve cards could dramatically improve what you were dealt. Right now a boosted pair can outscore trips and straight which feels a bit off. Considering changing the booster to only boost the Play and not the Ante, Blind or Trips, which is more in line with the standard Texas Hold'em. This reduces the effect of the boost, making boosting much more conservitive because the effects are small in score and favor making better hands with swap cards.   Do you prefer the 3 rounds or the non-boosterFreezesHand, or both?   Would enjoy discussing this further at support@RinkyDinkGames.com or in the open forums RinkyDinkGames.com/community/. Due to chance elements of the BoostingFreezesHand, this rule was removed from all tournaments as of 6pm PST on 4/14/21.
