iCloud Sync Data Loss
I literally lost ALL of my entries upon enabling iCloud Sync on Quick Journal! The only thing the app shows is specifically six random entries stating: "Test Content" I had over 1,000 Notes now ALL GONE from this app 😭 the only saving grace is if the developer adds code to import existing exported entries from iCloud Drive.

Hey there. I’m so sorry to hear about this experience. I have tried to trace why this occurred and I think I have a potential fix that I will push live as soon as possible. If the update does not fix your solution, please let me know. I also have a way to likely recover your entries using ICloud Backups, if you have feature that turned on. Once again, sorry for the stress. Thank you for letting me know.
Absurdly simple and easy to use (with one request)
I recently found this app while searching the App Store for a handy way to quickly write and store odd thoughts during the day. This app is easy to use right out of the box.
One feature request: integrating a Share system so I can highlight text in other apps and Share it with Quick Journal. Nothing extravagant, don't need graphics import, just text.
Second future feature: simple #tags maybe?

very good
love the simplicity and ease of use! i just have one suggestion and one problem.
the suggestion is to add more entry fonts, i think that it would make the app look more put together. i would really like the arial font😆
the bug is: when you turn on icloud, it deletes your notes. now, i've only had one note while this happened, but i've done this one two devices with the same outcome.

Backup and export
Hey there charlie, downloaded this app after I saw your linkedin post and have been using it for the past 9 months. Love it! But one problem, I have too many notes to export manually and if I change devices, I will lose these notes 🥲 please include a cloud storage or export option cause the idea is driving me nuts and the app is too good

Hey there! Just added both features. You can export from settings and also turn on iCloud support as well.

I have been looking for an app to help me start a new journaling habit, and this one does not disappoint! It has everything need to create a customized journaling experience. The only thing I would add to it is the feature of setting yourself schedule reminders.

Die App geht schonmal gut in die Richtung was ich gesucht habe. Mir fehlt allerdings die Möglichkeit, nachträglich Datum/Zeit zu bearbeiten bzw. hinzuzufügen.

Die Übersicht mit Zeitstempel hilft mir sehr zu sehen was am Tag so passiert ist. Die Integration mit MacOS werde ich noch testen.

Der Anfang ist gemacht, die Basis optisch ansprechend und funktional gelungen. Ohne Spirenzchen kann man gleich loslegen mit dem Schreiben. Allerdings fehlt noch eine Menge:
- Versionen für IPad, Mac und Apple Watch
- ICloud-Synchronisation
Um nur die wichtigsten Punkte zu nennen.
Es ist auch nicht alles fehlerlos: Beispielsweise kann man keine Einträge teilen, wenn der Eintrag „Auto open Composer“ aktiviert ist. Ich denke aber, dass sich das schnell ändern lässt. Fazit: Fünf Sterne als Vorschuss!

Great app but developers need to add more functions
Compared to other journaling apps, the minimal interface is a plus point. However, more functions should be added like allowing import photos, unlocking using face ID
A little bug is that when I choose option “2 line entry preview”, it can’t preview the full length of line 2.

Clean & Simple
The UI is so clean and straightforward. Sometimes you just need a simple no nonsense place to write down your thoughts and ideas. I love the iOS notes app but, sometimes having everything in one place make things difficult. I hope they add an option to add titles.
