This app makes the process of SOP generation as fast, painless and productive as possible. My business was bottlenecked for growth due to me, the owner struggling to delegate, train technicians, hold standards, get others to do the processes I had in my head. This app is exactly what I was looking for to solve this problem. I am so relieved this app exists as it gives me the ability to take steps to solve this very difficult problem. It allows you to create iOS device stored sop follow-alongs that technicians can click through step by step with pictures, videos in a super un-complicated interface. Formats sop’s beautifully for print versions, shareable and the best part is it’s just a highly usable, uncomplicated software that cuts out all the unnecessary stuff that clutters all the current available apps you would find to address this problem. So glad to have found this app, I’m telling everyone about it I can, super grateful.
READ THIS: I own businesses where we do automotive, residential and commercial services. Detailing cars, tinting windows, paint protection film, vinyl wraps, ceramic coatings, commercial vehicle wraps, residential and commercial window film, commercial window, wall and floor wraps, graphic design, branding services on and on. We have a small team of techs and I, the owner know how to do everything in my head and I could fill a 1000 page book with it. I need to get what I know into my peoples heads. My business will not grow until i do. A common harsh reality for small business owners, so tough. Here’s what this app does for me now. I create a step by step sop on my iPad, i add pictures and videos for every step so the technician can read the step, see what the step’s important visuals for the step would be whether that’s a tool, product, install image, install process image, and I have a video there with the pictures, the tech can click and watch exactly how the step is done correctly with video taken from my meta glasses so it’s POV exactly how the tech sees it. I can give them my iPad, they can scroll through the sop database, click the service they need to do, follow along the whole time as they do the service, and do a check off sheet post service to check their own work. I also have paper print off’s for ever sop on the wall of our shop so the tech can get a physical copy and physical check off sheets whenever needed. So this is my new reality after using this app. My noob tech needs to learn exactly how to detail a car and do it the same way, correctly, every single time. Super difficult challenge. I give them the iPad, they click the “executive level detail” sop, they can click it, it takes them into the sop, there is a video they can watch me do it from start to finish, they are taken to step one, pictures and thorough description, then, once completed, click to step two and so on. Once they complete the entire sop, there is a check sheet they go through, checking their own work, once they are done they can sign off and put the check off sheet in a wall mounted holder for management to look at, I check their sheet with a red marker, tell them where they missed and they go back and improve. If their failure was my lack of sop education, I go edit the sop, this leads to a bulletproof sop, gives the tech every reason to be successful and trains them on how to do the service, gives them the best possible resource if I’m not around, becomes the Bible for our business operations, give it a lot of repetition and now my teach is as autonomous as possible. As a business owner, I am spending the time I have in this life on creating successful businesses, I am wasting my time by not leveling up to sop’s, employee autonomy, creating the resources my techs need to learn and do good work.
