Description inaccurate

The App Store description says QuickDrop lets you transfer files for free. That’s not accurate. QuickDrop has a 3-day free trial. Either the description should be honored within the app, or the description should be updated to reflect the actual pricing model.

Bait and switch

This whole app is hidden behind a paywall. It says it’s free but you can’t do anything unless you subscribe. And then it doesn’t work very good.

Einfach und schnell

Einfaches Setup und schnelle Übertragung. Teilweise kostenpflichtig, aber da ich in Zukunft die Funktionen weiter nutzen werde, habe ich die Einmalzahlung gerne angenommen. Wirklich gute App

What a timesaver!

This is an amazing app. I write a lot of product reviews, where I snap photos with my phone or tablet but write the text on my Mac. Years ago, I used an app to transfer over a USB cable, but that app got outdated. For the last few years I have been using a USB drive to copy from the devices to the Mac. Effective but takes a few steps and a bit of time. This is so quick and convenient!
The trial period allows you to transfer at max speed, but that expires in a few days. You can still use the app, but the transfers are slower, though probably no slower than other apps. But since I transfer about a dozen photos or more at a time, I really appreciate the speed, and I paid for a lifetime subscription for the app, which is a great deal. This is one of the handiest tools I’ve ever downloaded.

How do I send files with QuickDrop?

To send files, select the 'Share' option for a file on your device and choose 'QuickDrop' from the list. If it's not visible, you may need to enable it in the 'More' or 'Edit' options. You can also open the QuickDrop app, select a device, and choose files from your Files app or clipboard.

Is QuickDrop free to use?

The application is free to download and use. However, it does offer in-app purchases, suggesting that some advanced features or customization options might be available for purchase.

What devices is QuickDrop compatible with?

QuickDrop is designed for cross-platform file sharing. It supports Android phones, iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers, as long as they are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Where are received files stored?
