What's New in QuickSave

1.20

September 15, 2026

Home - New items from another device, the share sheet, or an agent raise the new items pill when they land above where you are reading - Tapping the pill in the List and Headlines layouts no longer stops partway up - The highlight on a just-saved item starts once the item is on screen and fades out at the end instead of cutting off - A link that is still loading says so on its title line and keeps naming its site - A starred note shows its star in every layout - The empty Starred list says how to star an item Links - Reddit links load again, and a post carries its own photo - A profile or channel page on Reddit, YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, Instagram, Threads or X saves as the person instead of failing - A short link (t.co, Spotify, Instagram, Threads) saves as the page it lands on - A page with no headline stays untitled instead of taking its address as a title - A link whose page could not be read shows what it has and keeps trying - Opening a link whose preview is still loading shows the title the row shows - The address field accepts an address without https:// Notes and screenshots - Long notes, screenshots and pasted pictures no longer carry a placeholder title, so search, sharing and exports use their own content - A note that contains a web address is still a note, so its pictures stay editable Saving - When a change cannot be written to this device, a banner says so with Retry, and the item's page marks the unsaved change Agent Access - QuickSave no longer asks for Local Network permission - An approval you do not answer within 90 seconds is refused, and the card becomes a timed-out notice - The approval card says what the agent would do in plain words, with Allow once, for 30 minutes, or while connected - The endpoint keeps its address across a relaunch, so a paired agent's saved address stays valid - Your own edits and iCloud changes are counted in the change feed, so a stale agent batch is refused - Agent search ranks results the way Quick Find does - Agent rows and labels work with VoiceOver and large text Export - An export includes pictures that arrived from iCloud ahead of their item, and reports a picture it could not read instead of dropping it Also fixed - A crash on launch from the background summary task - A fresh install no longer waits behind "Syncing with iCloud" after a network blip at launch - Sidebar counts and the tag bar no longer stall during a first iCloud pull - Sharing a long note is headed by its first line, and one shared picture is called an image - The link actions sheet no longer opens with a blank line above the address - The clipboard prompt counts the images it is about to save - A post whose account cannot be read no longer shows the site address as its author - An http:// address is saved as https://, as the Add sheet already did
