Can’t be purchased and has no support
I downloaded this app, and it looks as tho it would do everything I need in an editor. Problem is; when you attempt to do much of anything, it says it’s only available in the full version and offers a pop up with a solid blue button that should allow you to make the purchase. But does nothing when attempting to push it. I’ve attempted to notify Apple and the developer. But the link to the developer’s website for support, is only a page that simply says "QuickText support". That’s all that’s there. Just the text. No support.
In the end; it’s just a crippled editor, with no means of upgrade, or support.
Very disappointed. ☹️

Just a few updates from my
I have a lot of going back
Can’t unlock Pro after paying for it
Still can’t edit documents more than 10 times after paying for pro version.
No way to undo
Type over something by accident? You’re screwed. No undo function. Without them the app is no more useful than Apple’s “Notes.” I purchased this for an iPhone 12x Pro Max, iOS 16.1. Oh, go ahead and hit the “Support” button and see what you get. A blank web page. I’d highly suggest not wasting a penny on this app.

Lets me open text files with unknown extensions
Other popular plaintext editors don't let me open files with extensions like .sql for instance.
I would wish for a way to disable line wrapping though. I've just contacted the dev about it.

I paid for the full version, but I get an error message whenever I try to open a document not created in the app.
This app serves me absolutely no purpose and was a waste of money.

I love this!
The app is small in file size, and integrates smoothly into iCloud. It is a straight forward text editor.

After you download the app it lets you open 10 files and then it won’t let you open any more until you pay for a subscription.
Wonderful app
I was looking for a simple text editor for iOS devices. I must have tried about 10 different ones and they all had some major failings. However, QuickText did exactly what it said it would do! I’m very pleased and I just bought the Pro version to continue to provide developer support.
I would love to see search/find functionality added at some point. Regardless, I am quite pleased with this application!!

Exactly what I needed and excellent support
I get text files attached to emails and forum posts as part of my tech support activities. This simple lightweight app gives me a way to read and mark them up.
When I first tried it, I couldn’t open some files. I contacted the author and he responded. I sent him an example, he found the problem and fixed it in 2 days. This is excellent support.

Nice simple clean well integrated with iCloud
If you want a simple text editor that is clean and fast with no ads then this is the app you want. I tried 4 or 5 others before finding this one. It does exactly what I need to do: view and do simple edits on text files with a clean dark mode interface.

Locked out
I created 1 file two days ago. When I try to open today, I am locked out. I get a notice about being limited to 5 file a week and a suggestion to upgrade. If I can’t open my file then this app is useless.
Where is search/replace??
Useless without it.

Just a note that this is not useful as a file viewer since it annoyingly changes the timestamp when opening a file with no edits. It also locks after opening five files whether you edit them or not.

I downloaded this app to try it out. I opened a work file and the file would open properly but then the text size would change and none of the Text formatting and data would line up anymore.
I tried playing with some settings to see it this would work for what I need but before I even started reading the file the app informed me that I had reached the limit for the number of edits per WEEK?!?!?!
5 file edits in a week didn’t even let me see if I would like to buy the pro version. It stopped working before I could even try it. I opened the exact same file 5 times trying to get the font size correct and it shut down.
Don’t waste your time. While this is probably a good app the shortsighted developers made it totally useless because they wanted paid and didn’t give me a long enough time to try the app before making it totally useless.
I will be removing this app because without paying more I can’t use it for an entire WEEK not an hour or a day an entire F****** WEEK! What a piece of S***
