Forza Horizon 6!?

It’s great can’t for the Fh6 update

Support for Horizon 6??

Many of the tunes are decent. I found many don't work properly. Maybe because I am using the H5 calculator and playing H6. Please make a version for H6 as I haven't found a calculator that goes in depth like this one.

Does not give correct results

The app doesn’t give accurate results. Most the tunes are make the car impossible to control. I gave up and went back to my old app.

Great app!!!

I have this app and rather enjoy it! I hope one is released for Forza Horizon 6! Please! Thank you!

Latest update hasn’t worked

The most recent update claims to fix an issue with empty help pages…it doesn’t. Basically any help pages accessed via the in app links open text pages that are black text on a really dark grey background making them unreadable. There are multiple issues with the tune outputs as well.

Revised review

I’m revising my original review now that I’ve had even more time to use this tuning tool…sadly, despite a few updates, I’m getting the same poor results. In the hope the developers see this here are a few issues.

1) I cannot find any way of making contact with the developers. I have tried on here, on X and on their own website but no email address, at least not one I can find. I’m not a Facebook user.

2) The last update was supposed to fix the issue of help links producing blank screens. It has improved but still virtually unreadable to the point of being useless.

3) All of the tunes I have tried seem to have very extreme settings, Anti Roll Bars set to maximum, Spring rates set to minimum, Suspension Geometry set to maximum plus or minus limits etc. In pretty much every case the car ends up worse than it was under the default tune provided by the game itself. At some level this applies to every car regardless of which class but the lower class cars seem to be more affected.

4) The website seems to claim that the app is progressive. I believe it’s meant to update itself with new car statistics as the car is upgraded, if I’ve understood this correctly, it doesn’t work.

I use the app on a standard iPhone 14 and a 3rd Gen iPad Pro, all of the above issues are present on both devices.

Seems like a work in progress

I used the free version a few times and was sufficiently impressed to pay for the Motorsport (I don’t play Horizon) pro version. Prior to writing this review I tried to find contact details for the developer without any luck, it was my intention to run a few things by them before arriving at conclusions. I’ll try to be brief as there are quite a few issues with the app so I’m just going to mention the highlights. For information I believe everything I mention here is applicable to the app being used on either an iPhone 14 or a 12.9 3rd gen iPad Pro as these are my devices. After selecting a car the app, very accurately, displays its stock stats and details however, this information is not altered as upgrades are applied so we can’t be sure if the app is taking them into consideration. In some cases the app considers race brakes and race chassis to be detrimental to handling, it gives a warning, this is also incorrect as both will have either no impact or will improve the handling of a car. There are more examples of this but these are the most obvious. Albeit not every time tapping on the “Learn more” warning will result in a blank screen. The app claims that it will guide you through, and make upgrade suggestions but frankly all it ever seems to do is recommended anti roll bars and even then only when race springs have been selected. After selecting your required car you are given the option to select which Class you would like to apply but this doesn’t seem to provide any assistance with the build either. The layout of the app doesn’t strictly reflect the layout of the game so you can end up moving back and forth when entering upgrades. So far I have built and turned about 10 cars of very different variations and have tested each one against the game’s default tune after upgrades have been applied…in every single case the app tune was slower and generally less stable than the default, in some cases badly so. I genuinely think this app is on to something but right now I believe it has been released too early. I will be happy to revisit and revise this review if there are improvements made.

Forza horizon five

I wish that i could get more cars to tune for free and not spend anything. I wish that you guys asked for 10 cars we wanted tuned.

Yes indeed, worth it

Improved on my own tune on a short track by 0.5secs, in ways I’d never have thought of myself. A lot of work has gone into this and it shows

Needs PS5 Support

App had car parts that my FH5 (PS5) didn’t have, because it was made for the PC version. Author needs to update this version for PS5 users. When tuning, I was disappointed with the results. I switched to another app and got better results.

Disappointed

Created one tune, car totally undriveable even when I tried to use the sliders to remove oversteer. Wouldn’t even go in a straight line. Immediately requested refund after unable to find any way to communicate directly with the developer. Really wanted this to work and have saved the built hoping that the developer reaches out

Worth buying

Just discovered this app and it’s great! I’m really enjoying it for Motorsport. Thanks for keeping it updated!

Worth it

As a father with a full time job I havent got the time to learn all the nuances of tuning but with this app I can chose my car, my upgrades then enter the details into the app and it spits out the tune. I find the ones from game from top racers are too twitchy and not to my liking. Other apps make the car too stable and boring losing the cars character, but this app keeps the cars character and shaves seconds off my times. I have played forza 1-7 and always used tuning apps because I can’t wrap my head around the tuning and this one is hands down my favourite one to use.

Must have

As a father with a full time job I haven’t got the time or patience to learn the nuances of tuning. I upgrade my car pump the info into the app and it spits out the tune saving me a tonne of time. I love it I have played forza motorsport 1-7 and always used tuners not sure if I can name the rival one but it creates a too safe tune and all cars feel the same but QuickTune keeps the cars character whilst making me shave times of my laps. Honestly can’t recommend this enough.

Worth owning

I’ve been using ForzaTune pro for a week or two now, then saw this was also available. At only $5-6e it’s worth having both as they do different things. ForzaTune is only tuning, where as this allows you to drive into the build much more. It has a ton of notices and detailed guides to help maximize the build portion. I’ve been mostly experimenting with the build functions, and think they have a ton of value, but this app has a while to go to be totally world class and groundbreaking. To start, I think in my first impressions I don’t feel I have enough ability to save my work in progress, and I want to be able to A/B test different variations of individual builds. It’s worth mentioning, some of the guides are written at a higher level of vocabulary and understanding, and this may exceed the capacity of some. I’d say overall, this app is more complete and less casual in use than ForzaTune. I’m going to continue using both until one shows signs of being clearly more effective. I hope to see both supported and developed for a while.

Update: after a few weeks of testing I’m exclusively using this to develop the build, then tuning with ForzaTune. I don’t know if it’s just a matter of preference but I’ve just had more success with the FT tunes and they are generally a lot more like what I was developing on my own, before testing either of these tools.

I will continue to use both.

Thanks a lot for your thorough review. I will look into some of your suggestions such as the possibility to compare different builds in the future.

My go to

Love this app. Never had an issue with it once. Seems the bad reviews have been addressed. Makes each car feel infinitely better than stock tune and give a great starting point to tweak to your liking

Unbrauchbar
