About
Quiet Threads is a cozy grouping puzzle.
Each puzzle shows sixteen words. Four of them belong together in a hidden category — and there are four categories in all. Pick four words that share a theme, tap submit, and the group locks in. Four mistakes ends the round. No timer, no streak penalty, no noise — just words and time to think.
The name borrows the expression "common thread" — the shared idea that ties a group of words together.
How it plays:
• Sixteen words, four hidden categories of four
• Find all four groups in four mistakes or fewer
• A "one away" nudge when three of your four belong but one doesn't
• Difficulty pip per puzzle and a distribution bar per pack so you can pick your pace
One daily puzzle per language, picked once and shared by everyone playing that day.
Thirteen hand-authored themed packs at launch — seven in English (Starter, Coast, Garden, Kitchen, Library, Nights, Studio) and six in French. Every puzzle is read by a human and rated for overall difficulty, so packs ramp gently rather than spiking.
Two content languages: English and French, with localized words and categories — not machine translations. Switch in Settings → Language; daily puzzle and packs follow your choice.
Four themes — Light, Paper, Dark, and Dusk. Pick one in Settings, change it whenever you like.
Cozy ambient music and gentle haptics. Every sound has a tap-mute on the Home screen, no settings dive needed.
