Awesome!!!!

As a student with procastination problems, Quiet was my saviour!!!!!! It helped me block all my websites which were sucking the life out of my brains, and is 100% free! Totally reccomend it!

Does exactly what it needs to but

It would be nice to be able to create custom group toggles. Ideally I'd love to be able to tie blocking bunch of websites to a focus mode with an automation. For example, f I am studying, I'd like a specific list of websites to be banned with a single toggle. As opposed to having to individually toggle each site on their own.

Doesn't work on iphone or my Mac mini

It resets the settings everytime I change the page, making it useless. I've tried reinstalling and changing settings, nothing works.

Hi Renonek, please try the latest update :)

Works great!

updating old review - everything works like a charm!

Handy

Useful from time to time.

Great Filter

Everything works really well and I like how you can block everything at server level. Custom rule making can be a bit more intuitive but otherwise everything is great

Wonderful app but please bring back the old UI!

This is one of the best apps out there to increase your peace of mind as you browse around the internet.

My only wish is that you go back to the old interface, it was definitely more intuitive and easier to use.

Pretty happy so far.

Does what it says smoothly and quietly. No complaints at all.

Does not work for me

Nothing blocked that I can tell. Still getting messages about newsletters, cookies, etc.

Hi Skywatcher, Could you report the websites where you experience cookie and newsletter banners to feedback@lighthouse16.com or with the share extension “Report Website” in Safari? Kind regards, Peter

Great for your productivity

Helps break bad habits and gives me a sense of security online. The developer is active and very helpful. Easily worth the purchase in my opinion

Simple and effective

It’s terrifying how much certain websites track you. Even if you log out, they still track you across the web anyway. Just nuke them away with this extension.

I truly cannot tell if it is enabled!?!

I really have no clue if it is enabled and working or if the builtin Safari security settings on Big Sur are preventing it from working. There is not a toolbar icon in the Safari window; however, I have an icon for every single other extension. Even the extensions that have no use for a toolbar icon have them, so I am kinda hesitant to think this app is the exception. The Safari preferences show that this app does not have permission to read or transmit data even though itis enabled and checked. Again, all my other extensions are allowed permission to do so. I really don't know. I can't even right-click for options within a webpage. I wish I had some evidence that indicates it is working!

First of all thank you for using Quiet :) Quiet is a content blocker, it’s a special kind of extension and really doesn’t need an toolbar item. In the next version there will be a toolbar item to report websites to Quiet. When you open Quiet from the applications directory you can make changes. To check if it works you can block Facebook for example. When blocked it should not open Facebook.com in the browser. Instead show a message couldn’t open this website because of content blocker. Thanks for your feedback! :-)

Thanks to add blocking moskovian spy network!

lovely

I'd been loooking for a replacement for Shut up in safari on my macbook and this does it and more. i can sail on by the trolls

It’s pretty good

It does what it says but I do think it’s a little expensive just to block some websites.

Great, But Missing Whitelisting

It'd be great to be able to whitelists some web sites like GitHub comments; however, I've been able to just disable content blockers within Safari.

Fabulous Little App

Works exactly as advertised. I'm judging based on cookies, caches and local storage of the content it's designed to block. None. Nada. No more FB sneaking in the back door. Love it! (The iOS version is just as good.)
