Quietgrove: Grow a Tree

A quiet place to grow one tree. Plant a sapling, water it, and let it take its time. Quietgrove is a living nature simulator you visit for a few gentle minutes a day — a peaceful place to relax, not another demand on your attention. Every tree here is grown, not animated. A real botanical simulation builds yours branch by branch, responding to sunlight, water, nutrients, soil pH, and the turning seasons — so no two trees ever grow alike, and yours can never die. Neglect makes a tree sleepy, never dead. There is no timer, no streak to keep, and nothing you can lose. If life gets busy, the tree simply waits for you. Come back to find what changed: a spring flush, fruit ripening, the first snow on bare branches. Your tree keeps growing in real time while the app is closed, and greets you with a little time-lapse of everything you missed. Tending, at your pace: • Water, feed the soil, and nudge its pH — forgiving, never punishing • Swipe to prune: each cut redirects growth energy into the branches you keep, with a calm undo after every snip • Bend limbs, pinch tips, thin fruit, or shake the trunk for girth — mindful, hands-on shaping with gentle sound and haptics • Drag the sun across the sky and watch your tree lean toward the light • Four true seasons, day and night, drifting weather, and golden-hour light • Songbirds nest in a settled canopy; butterflies, bees, and fireflies visit • Harvest ripe fruit as seeds, and one day pass the torch: a legacy seed begins a stronger lineage • A Journal of firsts, and an Almanac that gently teaches the botany behind it all • Save grown trees to your Grove, name them, and share a photo card • A daily challenge tree — the whole world tends the same seed each day Everything that matters is free: every care verb, three species (sugar maple, orchard apple, mountain pine), uncapped growth, photo mode, the Grove, the Journal, and the daily challenge. One optional one-time unlock adds four more species (English oak, silver birch, cherry blossom, Italian cypress), grafting and breeding at the Grove's graft bench, and ten new places to grow, from a harbour to a zen garden. No subscriptions, no coins, no paid speed-ups — and nothing you already grew is ever taken back. Quiet by design: no ads, no account, and no data collected. Quietgrove is fully playable offline; your grove lives on your device, with a portable file backup you can carry to a new phone. Reminders are optional and off by default.
