Should have listened to reviews! Worthless

This app looked good in previews, it does not have colors you can see when you input the inches for sizes you want the quilt to be, this is not a good app. Stay away!

Waste of money

This app isn’t anything like the pictures above. I ended up uninstalling the app 15 min after purchasing it. Waste of money.

Not worth it

All your blocks must be the same size ... it doesn’t let you add blocks of various sizes

Not worth .99 centavos

This program only tells you the quilt size nothing else. If you want any design elements or fabric measurements you have to buy another program. I was very disappointed. The information given in this app you can get for free online

Bad app

This app is a total waste. You pay the .99 cents and can only make 1 basic quilt. Do not buy!!

Response from developer

It took over a year — however — the app has been expanded to offer more options. Of course it is hard to know what was hoped for — but the app now calculates the number of blocks (either squares or rectangles!) that will fit a quilt with a new center panel option and new option to independently set the width of each side of each border.

Not usable at all

You can’t color or shade squares, so you can’t actually plan a quilt in this. It’s just a large graph and is pretty pointless. Would not recommend.

Response from developer

QuiltSize is not a designer — it is a simple tool that figures how many blocks (including sashing, borders, or center panel) that fit within a predetermined, desired quilt size. For example, quilters who want to convert a design from one size to another (such as recreating a historical quilt to a modern bed size) will find it especially useful. As well as quilters who have blocks they would like to use and don’t want to deal with the quilt math to figure sashing and borders needed to create a specific sized quilt. Or, quilters who make quilts for contests may appreciate the assurance the finished size of the planned quilt will meet submission requirements.

Totally Unusable!

Wasted $$, not user friendly.

Don’t bother

Very disappointed don’t bother it doesn’t even come close to what it says to do so don’t waste your money wish I could get mine back RIP OFF

Hidden cost

I was very excited to find this app but after I purchased it I learned the features I was interested in were all additional cost. If you want to use the on-point feature it’s an additional .99. If you want to save as a pdf its an additional .99. Lots of other issues as well. If using with an iPad the keyboard is often in the way of the form and you can’t see what your trying to fill out. I’m hoping they add a lot more features to this app as it is very basic for the price. If you want an app that does the bare minimum it’s ok. I would not have purchased if I had of known all the facts about this app. Totally disappointed and a waste of my money.

Update: I have since changed my review from 2 stars to 1. I have now had a chance to use this app several times and it is just not worth the money. An additional item missing from this app is giving you triangle sizes when using the on point feature. A list with all supplies and there sizes should be part of your completed project. This app is in serious need of help!

Um...

Go out side, put a dollar on the street and walk away. You will get as much from doing that as you will this app. Seriously.

On-point

The on-point feature made it so easy to figure out how many blocks to make.
