Quokka: Parental Control

"Five more minutes." Every evening, the same argument. Quokka settles it before it starts: kids earn screen time by doing chores, and the limits actually hold — because Apple's own Screen Time technology enforces them on your child's iPhone, not you standing over the clock. No nagging. No negotiating. A deal everyone understands. HOW IT WORKS 1. Give chores a price in stars Pick from ready-made household, school and routine tasks or write your own — one-off or repeating, with due dates and an optional proof photo, so "I did it" means it's done. 2. Kids earn stars Kids mark a chore done; nothing pays out until you approve it with one tap. Streaks, hearts and medals with Rocky the mascot keep them coming back every day. 3. Stars buy screen time and real rewards Kids spend stars on a timed screen-time session that unlocks their apps for exactly as long as they earned — or on rewards your family chooses: movie night, a later bedtime, a day off chores. LIMITS THAT ACTUALLY HOLD • Daily screen-time limits and app blocking on your child's iPhone • Bedtime downtime on a schedule • Lock or unlock your child's phone instantly, from yours • A heads-up before time runs out — no surprise cut-offs • Need more time? Kids earn it — no begging, no all-or-nothing • Built on Apple's Family Controls: no device-management profile • With your child in Apple Family Sharing, Quokka can't be deleted or switched off without your approval LIMITS, NOT SURVEILLANCE Most parental control apps work by watching your child. Quokka doesn't. Apple's Family Controls is a permission to apply limits, not to observe: Quokka cannot see your child's messages, browsing, photos, screen or anything inside other apps. Even the list of apps you limit stays on your child's device and never reaches our servers. Your child always knows the rules and how to earn more time — so the app supports your relationship instead of straining it. No ads. No analytics SDK. No third-party trackers. Children join with a short invite code — no email, phone number, password or date of birth is ever asked of a child. MADE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY • Several children, each with their own chores, stars and limits • Two parents in one family — both see who did what, either can approve • A family map to see where your kids are • Fully translated into English, Ukrainian, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese — including the screen your child sees when an app is blocked WHAT YOU NEED • An iPhone with iOS 17 or later for each parent and each child. Every child needs their own iPhone: that's where the limits are enforced. • For the strongest protection, add your child to your Apple Family Sharing group. PRICING Quokka is free to download and set up. Assigning and approving chores, and spending stars on screen time and rewards, need Quokka Premium.
