I tried QuoteBuster because I’ve had a bunch of repairs in my home recently and I wanted to see how it compared to actual costs. I like the AI interface because I can be very descriptive about what the actual problem was instead of trying to tap on lists and look for a “close enough” item. The questions that it asked were very relevant to the problem that I was describing in each instance. I liked that the questions asked for the right details specific to the problem I was seeking a quote for and were not generic questions that may or may not have been relevant. In the end, the quotes were around the actual cost, within $100 in most cases. I see this as a great tool when something breaks and you’re trying to get an idea of how much the fix is going to cost you before you can talk to a repair company. Obviously, there are some details that neither you nor the app are going to know that will affect the final price, but I think this is a great resource for initial budgeting. I really like the intuitive user interface. There was no guessing about how to use the app and it is very self-guided.
