I love Quotemarks! It’s simple, but it just works, intuitively, the way you want and need it to. You can organize quotes by author or personalize tags for them (mine are by book), and you can back up everything as often as you want to. Love it! Looking to see if this developer has anything else on the app store!

Neat & Clean
Without overloading so many unnecessary features, a simple diary for our personal quote collection. However, a question! Why we need to schedule them again and again to see the quotes on widget?

I love this app! I collect funny quotes from my freinds and stuff, and this is perfect for it (way better than the notes app) but I have some people that want to start their own quote books and would love to collaborate. If this is a feature you could add, I would love it!

EXACTLY what I was looking for!
I wanted an app where I could get custom quote notifications and make a widget. The other popular apps are filled with genetic quotes and don’t allow you to import your own. Quotemarks csv import worked perfectly, and the app is super simple and straightforward to use. I can’t believe it’s FREE!!
Deleted my quotes
Randomly deleted 1/4 of my quotes suddenly. I had backed it up one day before but lost a whole slew of new quotes.

Finally an application that lets me save quotes I come across with ease.
No joke I was about to build an app for myself with what I felt I needed. Thankfully this gets pretty much all the way there.
Only feedback would be:
- let me hide the date organization/grouping on the main page
- would love some sort of “marketplace” of quotes to discover. Maybe even following friends and such. Almost like a Goodreads for quotes

Exceptional
If you just want an app that collects quotes, this app does the job marvelously. No subscriptions, no ridiculous features nobody is asking for. It is just right.
My favorite app!
I NEVER review apps. But I have to praise this one! If you are a total book nerd and love to save great quotes, this app is a must have! This is the only app other than social media that I use regularly. I love being able to save all the quotes I come across that I love into one place and love that I can tag them so I can easily find them according to topic or author. I even save great quotes from friends and mentors and I refer back to this all the time! I also love having a notes section so that even if I have the author saved, I can make a note of what book or website it came from. AMAZING app and costs me nothing. THANK YOU!!!

Truly a great quote app, I use it to quote my friends and it has never failed to work perfectly. No ads, fully free. Best quote app, even for things like motivational quotes.

Great, simple app for collecting and organising my quotes.
Great idea, but unstable
This is a wonderful app, but it is unreliable for some reason. I first noticed my Tags disappeared randomly. The some quotes vanished. To be sure, I started putting numbers on quotes. To my astonishment, some quotes just vanished. The calendar is a complete mess, I don’t even know what it is doing. I began to Export frequently when realizing the app was losing notes. The Exports would keep multiple copies regardless if you selected Replace when saving under same file name. I still use the app, because the concept and the simplicity make it a great idea, and I don’t have any other app can replace it. It is definitely buggy and unreliable though. Hope the developers can fix it. It is a well conceived idea, clean, simple and aesthetically pleasing.

Hi, if you email me I am happy to investigate. I’d need to isolate the specific scenario you are seeing to resolve it. Most likely old data is saved just fine, but I could imagine an issue where an update to an entry is not saved. And yes, scheduling UI is imperfect and some of UI refreshing can be janky. I publish bugs and feature backlog on the app’s website.

Deeply flawed
This app would be great if I could share quotes from my iPad to my iPhone. Without that functionality it’s lame.
