I like this app very much
I purchased this app after having it for many years. I always go to the most critical reviews first to help me determine if I want to purchase the app. Everything that was negative has never been my experience and most were 6-7 years old. I like the app and I have wasted .99 cents on much worse things than this. And I do not consider this purchase a waste of money. The free version is very good, I just like having different and more varied backgrounds. Great app.

This app is so inspirational with such philosophers such as Marcus Aurelius and many, many more. I love the notifications.
Wasted .99
I don't want push notifications. I simply want to view quotes on demand. Yet, this app KNOWS what's best for me. I open the app and immediately it pushes me to all push notifications. I can't even read quotes most of the time.
I love this app!
A lot of people could really use this app if they're in a struggle or just simply want inspiration. I love waking up and seeing a different quote; great motivation!😄😄😄

Was ok however, now sends me dozens and dozens of reminders all at once.... each day!?. Which is why I have made the choice to delete it.

Upgrade problem
I enjoyed using the program for free for a long time. But I've decided to upgrade a couple or so months ago. Now that I have a new phone, after restoring, my upgrade is gone. I have not found a way to restore my upgrade. I don't want to proceed with purchasing another (by pressing the UPGRADE button) as I'm not sure if that will restore my deluxe upgrade or charge me for another upgrade. I need help on this. If not, pls leave and post this review.

Some bad advice
Most of the quotes are beautiful. A hand full are just horrible, bad advice. Be smart, don't believe everything you read.

Great but not for Voltaire or Hall
Lol. I gave this app 5 because it's good, but one (common) glitch. One of my fav quotes: "I do not agree with what you have to say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." NOT Voltaire. Evelyn Hall. Why does everyone misattribute it to Voltaire? It's on record, people! He was a great philospher and said plenty of profound things; he probably wouldn't appreciate being assigned someone else's words, no matter how well articulated. Ok, I'm done. But I really enjoy the quotes.
