LISTEN TO THE QURAN, WITH TRANSLATION Play the complete Quran in Urdu or in English. Browse by surah, search by name, and jump to any rukoo. Bookmark the rows you return to and filter the list down to bookmarks only when you want to stay with a passage. Playback continues while you lock the phone or use another app, with full controls on the lock screen and in Control Center, so a rukoo does not stop the moment you put the phone down. DOWNLOAD FOR OFFLINE LISTENING Tap the download icon on any rukoo to keep it on the device. Downloaded audio plays with no connection at all — useful on a commute, on a flight, or anywhere the signal is poor. PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF The home screen remembers the last thing you were listening to and offers to resume it in one tap, so returning to the app never means hunting for your place again. PRAYER TIMES, CALCULATED ON YOUR DEVICE Today's five prayer times for wherever you are, computed locally with the open-source Adhan library — no prayer-time server to depend on and no request that leaves your phone. A hero card counts down to the next prayer, the timeline below shows the rest of the day, and times are formatted in the timezone of your location. Add the Next Prayer widget to your home screen to see the countdown without opening the app, in light mode, dark mode, or the tinted home-screen style. MATCH THE METHOD YOU FOLLOW Prayer times are only right if they are calculated the way your community calculates them, so the app lets you choose. Pick from twelve calculation methods — Muslim World League, Egyptian, Karachi, North America (ISNA), Moonsighting Committee, Umm al-Qura, Dubai, Kuwait, Qatar, Singapore, Turkey and Tehran — each labelled with the region it is normally used in and the Fajr and Isha angles it applies. Then set the Asr rule to Hanafi or Shafi (Maliki, Hanbali) and the whole day recalculates, in the app and in the widget. SEARCH HALAL E-CODES Look up any of 293 food additive E-codes and see at a glance whether it is halal, haram, or doubtful, with clear labelled status chips rather than colour alone. The database is bundled inside the app, so lookups work offline and instantly. Sourced from the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS). READ IT IN YOUR LANGUAGE The entire interface is available in English and in Urdu, with proper right-to-left layout in Urdu rather than English text with Urdu labels bolted on. Choose English, choose Urdu, or let the app follow your iPhone's own language setting — and change your mind at any time without touching iOS Settings. The interface language is separate from the recitation language, so you can read the app in Urdu and listen in English, or the other way round. DESIGNED TO BE CALM A minimalist design in adaptive sage and brass, with a proper dark mode, a tinted app icon, and VoiceOver labels throughout. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Your location is used on your device to calculate prayer times and is never transmitted anywhere. The only network requests the app makes are for the recitation audio you choose to play or download. Audio and translation content is provided by third parties and fully attributed inside the app on each section's attribution screen.
