A Great App for Mindful Phone Use, as a Muslim

Quran Time is an incredibly thoughtful and effective app. It’s extremely easy to set up and use; within minutes, I had it running and linked to the apps I tend to waste the most time on, like TikTok and Instagram.

What sets this app apart is its ability to gently redirect your attention and not be annoying about it. If I find myself trying to waste an hour on TikTok, it prompts me to read a short, English verse from the Quran. Just that reset itself makes me more mindful on if I even want to spend time on TikTok. It’s a very meaningful way to pause and reflect, and it has genuinely helped me become more mindful of how I use my time.

The user interface is clean and functional, though there’s definitely room for small improvements in terms of design. That said, the app absolutely delivers on its core purpose, and it does so with excellent intention.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to build healthier phone habits while reconnecting with their faith.

I’ve always wanted an app like this.

I never write reviews but I had to for this app!! This concept is everything I needed. I love it so much! I get my daily read in and get a little less attached to the dunya of social media. A read a day keeps the shaytain away!! I have zero complaints about this app and recommend it to all my friends and family! Great work.

Highly recommend trying it out!

I’ve been using this app for a few weeks now and it has definitely made a difference in both my mental and physical health. I’ve been able to limit my screen time, which has helped with my sleep and I’ve also been able to dive deeper into learning more about the Quran and understanding some of the stories in there. Highly recommend trying it out at least once!

Smart idea and much needed

Just downloaded the app and I’m already impressed by the concept. It makes you read a page of Quran before accessing social media, which is honestly something I’ve been needing in my life. The timer forces you to slow down and really reflect. It’s a refreshing way to reconnect with the Quran while cutting down on distractions.

Looking forward to seeing how it impacts my routine over time. So far, very promising!

I always wanted to read the Quran as a something that is part of my life, but life just gets in the way. This forced me to read it and everyday that goes by I know I’ll finish reading the Quran without even thinking about it because it’s part of my life now.

Breaking bad habits with good deeds

First off, this app has beautiful aesthetics! Very pleasing to to the eye, user friendly, and easy to read texts. I’ve been dealing with social media addiction for many years. Luckily, this app gives me the benefit of breaking bad habits and increasing my knowledge of the Quran. My favorite part about the app is that it also includes English translation. Downloading this app has made me more productive, focused and increased my good deeds.
