What's New in Qwick for Professionals

4.10.0

September 10, 2026

Certifications made simpler: see every certification a shift needs, upload one or start a course without leaving the shift, and stop getting asked for documents already in review. Confirming a last-minute shift now asks you to double-check before you commit. Instant Pay always shows the current fee, and Last Call notifications open the right shift when you tap them. Also: account status alerts on your Home screen, a smoother onboarding path, and fewer freezes.

App Interface Issues

Don’t get me wrong I love the job opportunities and ease of connection, but the app is often needing to be updated or randomly requiring additional onboarding. It gives me a ton of anxiety not knowing whether or not I will actually be able to access a shift I have applied for to clock in etc. I still get notifications on Gigpro that haven’t auto populated on Qwick I hope that’s just a lag and not an integration issue. The last thing I’m going to say is in regards to WFH. This probably needs to be a review on Minute.’s page but I haven’t been able to complete a single virtual task. Qwick’s cistomer service is very responsive, however Minute.’s is ostensibly nonexistent. It might be worth considering building out a recording portal within the Qwick app or otherwise utilizing a different third party. It’s disappointing that I cannnot take advantage of the WFH opportunities.

You must stay GLUED to your phone. Don’t waste your time

They used to have a board board where you could see and apply to any gig. Now, they randomly send you a gig, based on your “qualifications”.

Then, they have real jobs as well. Every permanent job they show me, I am too far to apply to. 67 mile limit to apply for a real job. But, for the gigs they send me, 170 miles away, for 3 hours of work, for $15 an hour.

This new company is a complete joke. I sent 3 messages to support last week and they have not replied to a single one.

I understand that there are not many people posting gigs, but this new system is completely messed up. You literally have to be sitting with your phone unlocked, and the app already open, if you want any chance of getting the jobs in this new system.

Don’t waste your time.

Stopped Working

After applying for a shift on my GigPro + Qwick app, I was prompted to download this app instead. I did, and now I’m unable to access my account on either app.

Qwick issue: Open app, check box, submit phone number, receive code. Then, the text box for the code just doesn’t work. I cannot use the quick access option, type with the keyboard or paste into it.

For 4 days I have been uninstalling, resetting, reinstalling, resetting, uninstalling, resetting, reinstalling, resetting…

The event I applied for is this weekend, I probably missed my opportunity at this point because the app doesn’t work. So disappointing and frustrated.

FAQ

What does Qwick do?

Qwick connects food and beverage professionals with flexible shifts at various hospitality businesses like hotels, restaurants, and event venues. It allows users to create their own schedules and offers competitive pay, often with daily payment options.

How does the payment system work?

The app offers competitive pay rates for shifts, and professionals can receive their earnings as soon as 30 minutes after completing a shift. This provides a quick and convenient way to get paid for your work.

What types of jobs can I find on Qwick?

You can find a wide range of jobs in both Front of House (e.g., Barista, Bartender, Server) and Back of House (e.g., Dishwasher, Line Cook) roles, as well as positions in Events and Catering (e.g., Banquet Server, Event Help).

Is there a cost to use Qwick?

The application itself is free to use for professionals seeking shifts. While the description doesn't explicitly detail in-app purchases for professionals, it's common for such platforms to have a free model for job seekers.

How does the rating system benefit me?

Qwick utilizes a two-way rating system. This means that your performance is rated by businesses, and you can also rate the businesses. Consistently good performance can lead to more shift opportunities being matched with you.
