Excellent, reliable user-friendly app!

One of my faves / for tracking and logging information - simple but mighty

one of my faves

convenient and reliable!

Under appreciated

This app should have many more reviews and higher ratings. It’s the most useful app for organizing thoughts and information just as you would use a physical index card file. It’s not Evernote and it’s not intended for what that program can do.

A simple card index system

I have been using this app for several years now and have found it very useful. It is simple to use and the amount of cards that can be produced is phenomenal with very little use of memory and space on the hard drive. Dependent on what you want from an index system it is very simple to use without too much extras. The downside is that you cannot import images into the cards. I cut and paste from other apps as required.

Underline and Bold

Both would be nice since quotes at times are not that clear. Otherwise this program is fantastic for my needs. And easier to carry across than the actual paper ones. It is simple and in that it is genius. May start to use markdown markup for things like that, but would be nice to just have it.

Don’t Believe The 5-Stars

This app is VERY, VERY buggy! You can’t even delete the categories—dumb ass—at least fix the bugs! Do not spend your hard working for this crap! If the developer had any appreciation and respect for people paying for this crappy app, they would of been responded to those who financially supported the developer! They just took our money and RAN! Show this developer NO LOVE! Before buying this app check the the update!

Works great!

This is an app that I had downloaded a long time ago but just now started using. I was worried that it might have developed some bugs because it has not been updated for a while but I was pleasantly surprised that it works great! I love the fact that I can sync my work with the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. I use it as a todo list and to manage projects I am involved with.

Horrible App!!

Horrible app. How the heck do you work this thing????

Need to work out some bugs!

Wish that when you used the search function, it would take you to that card and allow you to back out one screen so that you can move the file. This needs to be fixed! Once you have too many cards it isn't as functional and should be easy to make this enhancement!

Needs Work

This app is not as good as the prior reviews reflect. It has bugs which can result in losing entered data. There are conditions when hitting "save" doesn't really save. Also had instances where the headers disappear. The only way to resolve is to delete and reload the app which wipes all data. I figured out work around a for some issues, but probably won't use this app as it"s too unpredictable.

Excellent

Ive been using qwik cards for last 3-4 years as main studying tool for passing job promotional exams. I've got other coworkers using it as well and the ability to sync notes is highly useful. WOULD LOVE ABILITY TO HIGHLIGHT THOUGH!!!! That would be awesome..

Very nice program

Love it - smooth, has everything I need. Some ability to edit text (bold) and set print margins would be even more awesome. Thanks!

Very Useful!

Handy note and flashcard app that is very easy and handy to use. I also love the sync and sharing feature! The developer is also a very friendly person :)
Would definitely recommend for students.

Love this little app

Just like having a file cabinet on your phone!

Nice!

Very solid app, sync works great, very handy.
A little pricey for the Mac version though.

Nice app, needs a few more features

I have a great deal of affection for QwikCards. It is exactly the type of app I like, at least in theory. For it to really take a prominent role in my work flow, it needs more export options, tagging and rich text. Hope it keeps evolving.

Does what I want

I wanted to create an A-Z index system, and this does it easily, so very pleased.

Not yet worked out how to change font size/ colour and it has not found my iPhone so can't sync it.

Again maybe there is a help file with the app, but again not found it.
Perhaps the designer could let me know? That would deserve a 5 star rating. Ie well supported!

But it will do what I want and was easy to set up, so 4 stars this time

Unbelievable Support

This is a solid app that I keep finding more and more ways to take advantage of. Well worth the minimal cost.

However, the real reason I am taking the time to write a review is the unbelievable customer support that I have seen. The app, like all good apps, is a work in progress as the developer is always looking for ways to enhance the functionality. I have made a couple of suggestions, suggestions I am sure i am not the only one to have made, ALL of which have been incorporated into this latest release (which has no issues that this daily user has found). Moreover, they have responded in helpful ways to EVERY email I have sent within 24 hours! It is like having your own personal staff working on your app. They truely set the standard for what app support should be, as well as providing an increasingly useful app.

Updates?

Font too small and no updates on any of the platforms. Could be great...

An excellent todo/lists app

(This is a copy of my Mac App Store review)

Qwikcards is what I have been wanting for quite a while, a todo/lists/reminders app that is focussed on the essential stuff, a flexible set of notes/lists/items that you can move around, rearrange, reorder, regroup, expand and contract, annotate, update etc. Very much like most people's paper lists of things to do. Or indeed a boxed card set, which is the model it's built on.

It isn't full of unnecessary fluff like priority, due date, reminders and all the rubbish that Microsoft Tasks and other such apps have. These just get in the way. Tasks are -never- done by any due date, priorities always change, these are a waste of time. I just have a "Today" category in Qwikcards, which is my top priority, a "This Week" for the next most important, "Next Week" for the next, and lots of categories for particular areas like "Repairs" etc.

It works fine, you can drag any task up and down to reprioritise it visually, to a differnt group (under a coloured Divider), or to a diffeent Box (ie. category), or to a "Done" box, or leave in the Trash folder for that box when done (I like to see "done" things accumulate!). It's nicely visual, you can see your tasks easily. One click gets you everywhere. Each one-line card summary has a full card that you can write extra notes on (like a card-index card).

It syncs fine to my iPhone and is easy to use on the iPhone. I primarily maintain my lists / notes on the Mac, but can easily check things on the iPhone and add new notes or tasks there.

Well I've gone overboard here but I like to acknowledge a good piece of work. I have tried and abandoned several styles of To Do apps, but I think I've found The One. Keep it up.
