Subscriptions?

Big No to any forms of subscriptions. Our whole life seems to be based on subscriptions…

Sorry, But I prepared the next version with life time also

No charging for it

The app looks great, but unfortunately, that's all it is; there's no added value. I haven't even been able to create a playlist. I only paid for one month. The only version I'm using is the macOS version, and it's still not fully finished. I haven't been able to add a folder to a playlist. My advice is that they should refine the app before charging for it.

Nice work!

I love it!

Thank you for your feedback! It really means a lot. It’s always a pleasure working on something that people genuinely enjoy!

Waste of time

This app is a joke, it’s basically to play your music and it looks like a cassette is playing. Cool novelty but should never be charged a subscription for. You can use it without but there’s an annoying ad that pops up every time you click on something wanting you to pay for this. I can see a one time minuscule fee, as someone did take the time to create it but definitely not a monthly or yearly subscription! Ridiculous!

Thank you for your wonderful review. It seems the only thing you found negative about the app was being asked to pay for someone else’s work.

Love it ❤️

Great work! The perfect companion of the QX Player on Mac, which is an excellent player for audiophiles. If you have a High quality (HiFi) system, you will hear the difference. It’s in the same «  level » of Tidal streaming platform. Enjoy! And thank you Sergei Morozov.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really glad you’re enjoying it and that it pairs so well with QX Player. It’s especially rewarding to hear that it meets the expectations of people who appreciate high-quality sound. Your support means a lot—enjoy the music, and thanks again!

Works very well, looks great

Nice ui, intuitive functions. You nay not see your favorite music provider yet, but it’s great work.

Response from developer

Thank you! TIDAL support is planned for upcoming versions — I’m currently working on it. Regarding Spotify, I’m still evaluating options. Does it make sense to turn the QXPlayer into a remote control for the Spotify app?

Can be better

It’s nice, but:
- It crashes when scrolling to the end of song
- Screen does not flip in horizontal mode
- In 2026 no Flac support? Really?
Waiting for a version 2

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! Version 1.2 is already finished and will be released very soon with additional features and fixes. Landscape mode won’t be available for now. I have different plans for it: I want to make a dedicated “special mode” with a full cassette player simulation (with a lid you can open/close, etc.). That’s planned for version 1.3. About FLAC: it is supported. In fact, the app supports all major formats, including DSD — I double-checked and everything is working correctly. FLAC is one of the main formats for many users, so it’s definitely not missing. As for the crash at the end of a song — I’ll check the logs again and investigate. Thanks for reporting it!
