R-MAP Ideon

IDEON runs a workshop from first idea to signed-off decision, and then tells you whether that decision would hold up if you ran the room again. A facilitator opens a board, the room throws ideas at it, and the ideas get grouped into themes. Then the room votes with a real budget — so many people, so many points each — and IDEON ranks what came out. That much is ordinary. What is not ordinary is the next part: IDEON re-draws the vote two thousand times to find out whether the leader actually led, or simply got lucky. THE BOARD Capture ideas as fast as they are said. Drag them into themes, rename or delete a theme, and tag anything Must, Should, Could or Won't as you go. Columns scroll sideways, so a wide board stays a wide board. NGT VOTE Nominal Group Technique, properly implemented. Set how many people are voting and how many points each of them holds. The product is the budget, and nobody can spend more than their share. The ranking updates live, ties keep their shared rank, and closing a round freezes the reading. CONVERGENCE Two closed rounds give you a rank correlation between readings. Above 0.90 the room has converged. Below it, the discussion is still moving the answer, and another round is worth running. ROBUSTNESS This is the part most tools skip. IDEON re-draws the points two thousand times, one at a time, and reports how often the winner still wins and how often no clear winner emerges at all. A one-point lead that holds only 31% of the time is not a decision — it is noise wearing a rank. Auto-play steps through the re-draws so the room can watch a lead firm up or fall apart. MoSCoW BALANCE Must, Should, Could and Won't as proportions of the whole board, with a check on whether Must has crept past the healthy band. When everything is a priority, nothing is. SIX THINKING HATS One lens at a time, on a timer. White for facts, Red for feelings, Black for risks, Yellow for value, Green for growth, Blue for process. Notes are kept per hat, so switching lenses never loses what the last one said. RETROSPECTIVE Start, Stop, Continue. These leave the app as commitments inside the export, not as loose notes nobody reads again. EXPORT A Markdown summary for people, and a structured action list for the rest of R-MAP. Must-haves come out as candidates you can carry into CALIBER and score as forecasts later. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays on your device.
