This app could be dangerous when recording...
I just bought the BTA-1 to use with my R20 thinking that together, they would enhance my recording experience. However, I discovered to my horror that when my iPad went to sleep, playback/recording stopped on the R20 and the project was closed. When it happened the first time, I thought I had 'touched' something but it happens consistently. I've started using the R20 without the app as it is safer and it looks like I have wasted my money on the BTA-1.

Works fine and helps you navigate
Seems to be free for me. Just got the dongle and it works fine very impressed so far.
Garbage
This won’t even connect. It says: “looking for Bluetooth” but in the description of the app it says Bluetooth optional.
Updating ios and re-installing app works
After an update and re-install the control app is working as advertised - the addition of making both main screens available from the app seems necessary though. Looking forward to an update that includes this, and a firmware update allowing for loop points.
Nice addition, hopefully more to come
This works well for the basic features of setting track levels for recording and effects. Nice being able to perform some functions without having to be right on the actual R20 unit. Would like to see more detailed track controls added in future updates . The larger iPad screen access does make a difference and no real lag time between the app controls and the R20.
