Clunky reservation process
The reservation portion is kind of clunky and awkward for use you should be able to make multiple selections on an order instead of the rv is one and each stall is a selection. And the map leaves a little to be desired. Love the campground though

Very Difficult to book when on the water with poor WiFi. It would be much better to be able to set up an account with my billing information and payment information so that I’m not having to enter that information in each time I try to book a spot. No maps & no explanation of where the spots are! It’s 2026!!! it would not take much to upgrade to make this a little bit better!

Facilities, beach and buildings are in poor repair and not as clean as they should be.

I just wish this site had a place where I could auto fill address, and your credit card,and things like that would make life easier for those of us on the road.

Glitches
App has issues during checkout will glitch after inputing info then when you get to cart it will tell you that info is missing. Specially when booking multiple sites. Eventually it worked after a few tries and cart expires.

You need Apple Pay to stream line the reservation process!

Ads that are deceptive
The app UI isn't great but functions, however the inclusion of advertisements that are deliberately lying to present themselves as simply part of managing your RA account is completely unacceptable. Considering how this app is often mandatory to reserve a campsite at state parks and therefore is going to have older people who aren't as internet scam savvy using it often, steps need to be made to remove any ad like this.

i'm sure this app might be great but having an ad right on the front page after I login that says confirm your account and is actually for some stupid streaming service is absolutely terrible. You really need to fix that. Ads like that should not be allowed.
Kerr lake Hibernia campground
Great place to go if you want the park rangers to harass you about music playing (pg rated ) for the kids swimming in the cove during normal daylight hours and be told you cannot have a generator running after 10 at night at 6pm in the afternoon. Also was informed that a fully trained service dog who is under control on an e collar and sitting underneath me apparently is not welcome because I did not have his leash in my hand but yet no complaints about the constant smell of marijuana coming from the next campsite over every 30 minutes. I guess if your buddy’s with the host and park rangers or on a rv site it’s ok but if you stay on a primitive site you should be expected to be treated like you don’t belong.

403 Forbidden
could not get on website on two phones or laptops. down loaded app could not remember password. got 403 forbidden message trying to reset password. had to get friend to reset to make reservations
Unusable - Bugs, errors, Impossible
I genuinely do not understand the positive reviews. I spent way too much time trying to make a simple change to an existing reservation, and both the website and app were incredibly frustrating and impossible to use. The website is full of bugs and error messages, and the app often just redirects back to the website instead of letting you complete tasks.
I'm a UX designer and very comfortable with technology, yet I still have not been able to add a night to my reservation because I can't even view availability. The interface is confusing, availability is difficult to read, campsites are hard to compare, and nearly every click seems to lead to an error or dead end. What should have been a simple task was impossible to complete.
ReserveAmerica manages access to amazing parks and campgrounds, but this is one of the worst digital experiences I've encountered in a long time. The platform desperately needs bug fixes, USER TESTING, booking modernization, and a complete UX overhaul.

If you are camping somewhere that has a second option to book use that one! This is not user friendly! The number they list for customer service is even discounted!
