About

Race Readout turns raw motorsport data into the kind of analysis a race engineer actually uses. Instead of just following the results, you can break down a session lap by lap — speed, throttle, braking, gear, and cornering forces — and see exactly where time is won and lost. Built for fans who want to understand the race, not just watch it. TELEMETRY ANALYSIS • Per-lap traces for speed, throttle, brake, gear and more • Derived channels: longitudinal and lateral g-force and corner curvature • Inertial-frame track path reconstructed from positional data • Compare runs and laps to see the real differences between them SESSION TIMING & STRATEGY • Full results with clean, readable timing • Lap-time charts with outlier filtering • Sector times and pace breakdowns • Pit stops, race progression, and stint analysis • Highlight your favourite driver across every chart Race Readout is free, with every feature unlocked and it's powered by the public OpenF1 API. It is an independent, unofficial app and is not associated with, affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Formula One Licensing B.V. or any related entity. All series, team, and event marks belong to their respective owners.

What's New in Race Readout

1.2.0

August 6, 2026

Race Readout now analyses a whole session, not just a single lap. The new Stats page shows how a driver's pace held up: lap-time progression coloured by tyre, consistency for the session and each stint, tyre degradation per compound, and the theoretical best from their quickest sectors. Out-laps, in-laps and safety-car laps are identified and kept out of the figures, so the numbers describe driving rather than circumstance. Pick any lap to see where its time went, sector by sector, against a reference lap of your choice — and compare the two on every measure at once. The metric explorer plots 23 per-lap measures against lap number or lap time, coloured by tyre compound with a fitted trend per compound: top speed, throttle and braking shares, sector times, time in each gear, DRS use, average acceleration, braking and cornering loads, and air and track temperature.
