Disappointed with the App experience
App heats up my iPad Air like a furnace and drains battery, how could you mess up an app that has a very simple functionality?
Unable to open issues
I have a subscription, through apple but the app says I need to subscribe.
Magazine is great. App is terrible.
I have to “restore purchases” every time a new issue comes out. Some times I have to download it multiple times too.
When trying to read, the brightness level will go down in steps until the brightness is all the way down. I have to restart my phone in order to adjust the brightness again.
With the app open, the phone gets hot and the batter drains really fast. Like something is running in the background. Are they trying to mine bitcoin with the phone or something?
Once the phone gets hot enough, the app constantly crashes.
Please fix your app or let your fantastic magazine be read on a different app like it use to be.

Can’t read any issue despite an active subscription.
Worthless
This app is completely worthless!! I have purchased the printed magazine which advertises that you’ll have access to all digital issues including the archived issues. NOT TRUE!! I have tried to login with email and customer number numerous times with no success. I have spent months working with their customer service with ZERO results or help!! DO NOT THINK THAT YOU WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE DIGITAL ISSUES. This company might be the worst that I have ever dealt with! Chelsea Magazine is a joke!! Avoid like the plague!!

I purchased the December 2013 issue a few years back on my iPad 1st gen. obviously it doesn’t work now, so I downloaded this app on my iPhone. Charged again for downloading the same issue, and app crashes when I try to download it and view.

Would love to start reading again but every time I open the issue the app crashes spectacularly to the home screen :(
App Does Not Work With iTunes Subscription on New iPad
Have a paid iTunes subscription through early next year. Upgraded to iPadPro and cannot access a single new or previous issue. App keeps responding that it has “restored” all “purchases,” but it has not… No tech support in sight. Best option appears to be going to magazine website and browsing the free content.

Fantastic magazine, absolutely dismal app
Always losing downloaded content, your place in the issue, and forcing you to reload. The print version never seemed to have that problem!

Old version is better. New one can't preview .
Will not download paid for issues.
Don't get it. Will not download an issue I paid for in either iPad or iPhone. Customer support site will not even work. Worthless app. Don't bother, get the print issue instead.
Faulty Update
New restored only 2014 issues and appears to require 2013 issues to be repurchased. Not good.
Good magazine, but wheres the latest issue?
Its a nice, well put together magazine thats enjoyable to read and gives you great insight into F1 machinery, but it seems to take a long time to get the most up to date issue.
For example, its now February 12th and I'm sure the March edition should have come out a few weeks ago. I got the February edition in mid December, so what gives?

I would be buried alive in magazines without apps like this. Of course you can't read two magazines simultaneously though.
