About
Raceway turns conduit bending into marks you can put on the pipe — corrected for the bender in your hands.
Pick your bender and Raceway uses the take-up and centerline radius its manufacturer publishes for that exact model. Popular Greenlee and Klein EMT hand benders are built in. For any other bender, read the take-up off the shoe and add the radius from one quick test bend. Every number shows where it came from.
MARKS YOU CAN BEND TO
• Every mark measured from the end of the conduit
• Which bender mark to line it up with — arrow, center mark or star
• Which way the bend forms and when to roll the pipe 180°
• Corrected for bend radius, with the difference from the multiplier chart shown
• Bends your bender physically can't make are caught, with angles that will work
BEND TYPES
• Offsets, including parallel runs
• Rolling offsets
• 3-point and 4-point saddles
• 90° stubs and back-to-back 90s
BEND MODE
One mark at a time with huge numbers, glove-sized buttons and the screen kept awake. Bends are confirmed in order, so an accidental tap can't skip one.
ANGLE FINDER
• Live meter using your iPhone's motion sensors: zero on one leg, read the other, hold the reading
• Estimate a bend from a photo by placing two lines on the legs (you place the lines; there's no automatic detection)
• Opens from Bend mode with the target angle
ALSO
• Voltage drop with minimum wire size and maximum length
• Tape-measure fractions to 1/16"
• Every result shows its math and assumptions, and saved results keep the bender values they used
• Fully offline. No account, no ads, no subscription, no in-app purchases — nothing leaves your phone.
IMPORTANT
Raceway is a calculation aid for trained electrical workers. Its bending marks and angle readings have not been field-validated: bend and measure a test piece before you bend a run, and confirm angles with an angle finder. Results are not a code-compliance decision — follow your code book and your authority having jurisdiction. Raceway includes no electrical-code tables. Manufacturer names are used only to identify compatible benders; Raceway is not affiliated with or endorsed by any manufacturer.
