Great option to Hevy for Garmin Users

I used to use Hevy to log my weight workouts with the Apple Watch companion app until I switched to a Garmin watch. Then I was stuck logging my workouts on both my watch and Hevy since Hevy doesn’t have a Garmin companion app and they have said publicly that they have no intention of supporting Garmin. Luckily I found this app with does the same thing but is for Garmin. Now I can log my workouts on my watch like I used to. Also, you can send your workouts to your watch and log them completely without a phone which you can’t do on Hevy that I know of. A great Hevy / Garmin alternative!

Not to mention, you can import your Hevy workouts into the app so you don’t have to start from scratch!

Response from developer

This is the exact story I hoped to hear Ernie, thank you for taking the time to write it. Coming from a Garmin watch and being stuck double-logging in Hevy was the Rack exists, and I'm really glad the Hevy import let you pick up where you left off instead of starting over. Enjoy logging straight from your watch, and reach out anytime! - Noah

App terrible

The app will random kick you off, can't get to connect to Strava by far one of the worst strength training app I have used

Response from developer

Hey Wyatt, founder here. The kick-outs shouldn't happen, and that one's on me to fix. If you can email support@rackstrength.com with your watch model and roughly when it crashed, I'll trace the logs and push a fix. Strava is paused right now while I sort out a partner-side issue. It's coming back. Sorry the timing landed on you. Thanks for the honest feedback. I read every reply.

Does what I need it to!

I had been searching for an app that worked with my Garmin watch that would make building workouts easier, but also allow me to see the required weight I programmed with each movement on watch so that I could stop fiddling with my phone at the gym. This app solved both problems! The developer has also been fast to reply to found bugs and has been fast to fix them. Over all no complaints so far!

Response from developer

Thank you! You named some of the main pain points I built Rack for: programming a session once, and seeing the target weight on the watch so your phone stays in your gym bag between sets. Glad it's landing that way. Keep the bug reports coming. If something ever feels off - a sync hiccup, a missing exercise, a set that didn't register, please reach out!
