Not great
Could be decent but won’t let you do 2x on 28 or 32 hole wheels
Great but could be greater
I love this app and have had and used it for years. I would personally like to see some of the unusual things I’ve done before 2x drive side radial non on rear rim brake Mtb, snowflake, and suggested spoke tensions and a spoke length calculator
Perfect !
Thanks you the apps, this makes lacing simple! Very clear than any other tutorials.
Great visual!
Used for my first lacing! Great visual, zero issues!
Won’t let me do 36 hole 2x
Seems good although it won’t let me set the settings I need for a rohloff, it’s a 36 hole and rohloff say it must be 2x but the app won’t allow to see this configuration
Rad 3D
This is handy. Is there any chance of doing older wheels and hubs such as a 40 spoke rear wheel with Westwood rims?
Needs update for modern wheels
Doesn’t support 28h 2x rear wheels, used on Roval Specialized bikes—not a small, niche player.
Looks great!
The visualization of the wheel is excellent.
One issue: it will only do cross 2 on 24 spoke wheels - I need it for 32 right now, so I’m having to mentally adjust the 24 spoke visualization.

It’s great. Some feature requests
- Would great if you could highlight a spoke
- Support for 16 and 20 spokes would alsobe great
- Add more colors (for each step)
- Make the valve hole a different color
- it’s sometimes hard to navigate the wheel. Maybe add buttons to change orientation

Great; One suggestion
So I have tried to follow YouTube tutorials with some luck but this has helped guide me through several builds.
This is my go to each time I build.
The YouTube tutorials do one front then one back then finish the front/back. This way has not not worked perfectly for me because I screw up, but it does have me weaving the spokes a lot less. Would it be possible to show your build this way? Front-back-front back.
Thank you for the great app.

Great helpful app for bike wheels except for single speed bikes
I love this app. I’ve used it countless times. However I do think it needs improvement especially if you are building a single speed wheel with a coaster brake. Also allow people to choose ether a Cassette hub or Freewheel hub. Also I would like to see all the examples in the app when building with an asymmetrical rim. Otherwise I give the developer a lot of credit for making this app. Nice job!

No 48 hole BMX wheel!
Will change to 5 star when the 48h is added! But the app looks great! And great job! Please add 48h today!
Learning to build wheels? This app is wonderfull!
Learning to build wheels I have been frustrated trying to find clearly visible examples of lacing patterns from Google images.
This app is the most perfect thing I could imagine to clearly show correct wheel lacing.
If you are learning to build wheels then download this app - it’s beautiful!

Very useful.
This is a brilliant app for those who need a visual aid to help in figuring out how to lace a wheel. I just wish it would allow 28 hole 2 cross lacing, then it would be perfect.
A helpful yet brilliant idea
A great, handy app!
Only suggestion for improvement is more colours to tell the spoke setup apart, perhaps adding separate colours for spokes on the other side of the hub rather than blue and red.
Also more variety’s of wheel such as 40 hole patterns

Great visual way to see your progress!
This way an essential tool to build my first set of wheels. I absolutely could not have done it without this app. Let’s you actually “see” your progress and follow along. Best app I could find on the App Store to build wheels.
AND there is a surprise! There is a way to see where the developer lives, right there on the wheel! Hint, look at the spokes holes closely!

Update?
Update for iOS 12?
Really handy!
Works great to check lacing a wheel. I wish i had it for my 1st lacing! Stable too.
One suggestion would be to put a mark on the rim at the valve hole to help you see the valve location and make the key spoke a unique color from all others would really make this really helpful. For extra credit, label the “drive” side (assume a side even for the front) and maybe the first 9 holes from the key spoke to make this extra handy.
Easier said then done, right?

Nice.
Definitely gonna help out for noobie wheel builders.
Thank you!
Laced my first wheel with this app. Really helpful!
