Unique Outstanding Design App!

This is another one of those times where I find it difficult to express or find the words to describe what I feel about this Unique Outstanding Design App! Maybe because I am an ole man who now Days needs the help of my cane 🦯 to get around and now facing Health issues! The Developer has put a great deal of Time Hard Work Sweat and yea Love into the coding of this software! I never thought that in my whole lifetime I would have to depend on a Weather App! But it has become so important to know what I will face outside on my walks in the Woods in my area! Sounds easy enough but it is not so my friends finding this app that for me gives the correct data for my area! If you’re taking the time to read this then for an ole man please take the time to Download this Unique 5 Star ⭐️ App! You won’t be disappointed or Sorry! ( really )

Hey there, the plan is to have as much language support as possible. As a team of 1. I currently have English, German and Spanish and hope to expand. Sorry that you find it useless and 1 star due to language barriers and not the quality of the app. Someday maybe will add more but as a small developer have to devote resource and time as I can.

Love the aesthetic!

This is way better than Apple Weather! Super cool aesthetic and I just learned about the games in Rad Lab! Fun little feature!

Totally RAD weather

This app brings a new approach to weather by combining multiple forecasts into one meta forecast for your location. Also has a variety of other nice features, including ability to add your own personal weather station data to the forecast. Developer is extremely active & reponsive on the subreddit for the app. Highly recommended.

One of a kind weather app

It’s so well thought of, designed, and creative. The very first time you open the app you go, “whoa, now this is different!” The whole presentation is imbued with wow factor. It has so many innovative ways of displaying weather. Every part of this app is unique in concept.

Best weather app, bar none!

By far this is the best weather app I’ve ever used. I’ve tried over 30+ apps and it feels so good to only have one now. It has everything you need and more. Hyperlocal data and by far the most accurate I’ve ever seen. Amazing!

I am somewhat of a weather app nerd, absolutely not a programmer or developer, just an end user. You get what you expect and more with this app. No big extra frills but accurate weather. Love it! 👍

As of today you have it, and even more improvement :) we have alerts through MeteoAlarm and the DWD-ICON blend is part of the open meteo source in data and sources.

Eine einfach Übersicht über das komme Wetter verstehe ich nicht. Was bedeuten die Punkte? —
Immer wider wird man zugetextet mit Updatewerbung auf den kostenpflichtigen Teil der App. —
Eine Sturmwarnung „orange“ kenne ich nicht!? — Das sich bei Sturm in Regenschirm erübrigt weiß ich. Doch in einem Gewitterregen ohne Jacke 🧥 ist unangenehm.
— Da sehe ich schneller beim Blick aus Fenster was kommt.

Sehr interessanter Ansatz

Eine neue Wetterapp mit wirklichen Innovationen. Wirkt vielversprechend und wird offenbar sehr gut weiterentwickelt. Die Integration lokaler europäischer Dienste wäre toll, neben IconD2 auch KNMI, DMI, UKV, Arome. Für den Mittelmeerraum (Griechenland und Zypern) wären WRF und OpenSkiron ein weiterer Wunsch. Und ein Regenradar/Blitze wäre top. Der aktuelle Lifetime-Preis ist hoch, aber zur Unterstützung eines unabhängigen Entwicklers und einer werbefreien App habe ich das gerne bezahlt. Danke für diesen tollen Ansatz und viel Erfolg bei der weiteren Entwicklung 🍀👍
Kleiner Nachtrag: Wer keine Ahnung von Wetterwarnungen hat, sollte hier keine schlechte Bewertung abgeben, sondern sich selbst weiterbilden!

Thank you so much for trying the app and the support. I will gladly look into those sources as I’m trying to cover and blend as many as possible, thanks for the insight! And appreciate the support. Lifetime is a tricky one because a lot of apps don’t have lifetime (and I see why) because long term it’s not the best business move but it covers all the features as well as rad cloud with web weather. For those that don’t want that try to keep it priced well at 2$ a month. I’m excited to keep bringing many new and useful features. Thanks!🙏

Thanks! Currently working on German and Spanish right now. Just doing some checks and accuracy passed and hope to have German support within the next week!

Love the retro UI & science, but…

But, more & more, I tend to favor apps that provide good Apple Watch complications that work well with Always On settings. I prefer your UI to Carrot, but Carrot wins on the AW complications options.

Optisch der Knaller, aber…

Leider nicht auf Deutsch. Das trübt ein ansonsten tolles Programm. Auch wären zusätzliche Wettermodelle (z.B. vom deutschen Wetterdienst) sehr wünschenswert.

Best weather app…EVER!

I worked for a local weather company for 27 years and never purchased an app. None never measured up to what I needed.

This one is exceptional in its depth and detail. Love that it uses multiple data sources. The amount of useful information is incredible.

Thank you so much! Love to hear that someone in the field enjoys it. Always looking to improve and make it better. It’s a young app (3 ish months as of this writing) but a long way to go. The community here and on Reddit r/radweather have been extremely supportive and critical in the best way. Bug fixes. New features and some very very exciting things on the way.

Great Weather App!

I absolutely love this app. I have used quite a few weather apps in the past, trying to find the right one. This one finds the right balance - all the info you need, while providing it in a more engaging format that keeps you wanting to continue to use it. The developer is also very receptive to ideas and is constantly working to put together the best app and experience as possible, consistently looking to add more features and improve those already present. This is the type of app you want to- one in which the developer is just as passionate out the app as the users. Don’t sit on this app!

Does not auto update

Widget is useless since the weather doesn’t update unless you open the app. Kind of laughable in 2026 for a paid sub app

Hey there would love to see what the issue is. Are you sure you have always allow turned on for app in settings? Also widgets most aren’t paid and get access to widgets and most features as a free user. 7.6.0 just came out and added more clarity in app settings to make sure you do.
