Re: Speed & Location Not Accurate!

This is receiving a one star review, this is due to the app not working as it should or as it was described to. I noticed on multiple occasions on a single drive btw that the speed displayed on your app, was in fact not the posted speed sign; and would take awhile before getting up to speed with my location. A review of your app should be taken and a big update too, as having your app beeping at me saying I'm speeding when I'm not is quite frustrating!

The primary feature of RRSA is the Mobile Speed Camera location alerts. These are 100% accurate according to the SAPOL published spdcam locations. Open Street Maps Speed Limit advice is exactly as it is posted on Apple. It's advice. OSM is about 90% accurate and about 90% available. It also relies on 4G so if you're in a dark zone you will not get speed limit updates.

Latest update list access to my 12 month subscription

Did the latest update and now my 12 month subscription due to renew next year has been lost so atm the app is completely useless to me it literally does nothing, have contacted Apple about the issue but so far nothing

Radar reminder

This app has been extremely helpful as a P plater in SA. It tells me accurate information about location of speed cameras. Also love how the settings can be customised, and is also user friendly. Highly recommend this app!

This app is great for me as a driver in SA. The real time alerts for speed cameras which is accurate and reliable. I also love how you have the ability to customise the setting. Definitely recommend.

Radar reminder

This app has become an essential tool for me as a driver in South Australia. The real-time alerts for speed cameras and school zones are accurate and reliable. The interface is user-friendly, and I appreciate the ability to customize settings. Highly recommended!

Ads ads and more ads

Use to love this app but now it’s just ful of ads! Every time I go to look at it for speed reading there is an ad stuck on the screen requiring you press the X or “close” to get rid of it, at least still tells you about radars while stuck on ads.

Previously there were way fewer ads!

Also, the fixed speed cameras never seem to get updated. The “new” fixed camera on corner of Hampstead Rd and Folland Ave is still not there and it was “new” probably 2-3 years ago!

Your choice. I will have to check up on that Fixed camera you mention. So, I hope you choose the PAID version with no adverts that runs in the background as well. cheers Steve and the RR team. Hello Mick, I've just seen your review. We have had the iOS versions running crash free since November last year. But you're right there were start up crashes from a coding error around the time you've downloaded; also the Terms and Conditions also causes a crash - and we are fixing that too. We fixed the start up bug and released a new version 1.9.1 which (except for TandC issue is working perfectly. It'd be really great if you could take a moment to check out 1.9.1 and let us know your feedback. Cheers and thanks for the feedback.
