App Crashes

I have went as far as factory resetting my iPhone 14 Pro Max and setting up with a new iCloud and the app crashes on splash screen. This has been a known problem for 2 months minimum. Posted on July 1st 2026, I will update my review if this gets resolved.

Very cool way to see the world!

It’s a great app, allows you to examine the data in every conceivable way. A few feature requests from an iOS user, would be great to be able to scale the data on the map view, a single hotspot and all of the other data points turn green. If it was plotted along an exponential curve, that might be better. But at least a way to see nuances in a way that’s less binary. Also, would be spectacular to have the clicks be able to play through headphones, and instead of a “click”, have it be a tone who’s frequency is proportional to the energy of the received measurement. That is the say, lower tones for low energy higher tones for high energy. This would allow a user to get a more qualitative understanding of what radiation sources might be nearby.

Need some work

First of all, I don’t even have a geiger counter and you really have to connect one to the app to at least measure the radiation second of all I just want to at least change units to count per minute instead of counts per second. But the App is kinda Great on its own.

Где русский язык?

Почему в приложении нету русского языка , хотя сама компания сделана в России , почему обладатели телефонов apple получают совсем другое приложение если сравнивая его с приложение на Android (Why is there no Russian language in the application, although the company itself is made in Russia, why do owners of apple phones get a completely different application if comparing it with an application on Android)

FAQ

What does the Radiacode application do?

The Radiacode application enhances the capabilities of the Radiacode device for smart, flexible, and efficient operations. It provides real-time data analysis, interactive dashboards, advanced radiation search functions, isotope visualization, food contamination detection, and radiological mapping.

What are the key features of the Radiacode app?

Key features include an interactive real-time dashboard for gamma energy and source analysis, an advanced ionizing radiation search function with an averaging algorithm, signalization with customizable radiation alarms, gamma spectrometry and isotope visualization, a specialized mode for detecting Cesium-137 in food, and radiological mapping on Google Maps.

Is the Radiacode application free to use?

Based on the provided information, the application is free to use. There are no mentions of subscription fees, paid downloads, or in-app purchases for the core functionality of the application.

What kind of radiation can this app detect?

The application focuses on gamma radiation monitoring and analysis. It can visualize isotopes by interpreting the radiation spectrum, detect Cesium-137 in food products, and display gamma energy levels and exposure rates.

How does the food contamination detection feature work?

The application offers a specialized mode for detecting Cesium-137 in food products and liquid samples, similar to laboratory analysis. Users can check various food items like seafood, berries, mushrooms, dairy, and meat for traces of Cs-137 and compare results with safety limits.
